Many of those born into Islam (especially in America) don't grow up to be very devout. Religion statistics are funny that way. I'm on the books as Presbyterian but I question plenty of church doctrines (hell,plenty of everything).
As for the demographics there is little to be done there - most people have all the kids they can afford, some have more and get a government check.
American culture is strong and it will hold. I'll give up my beer and BBQ ribs when they pry them from my cold, dead, fingers. LOL. Have a good weekend y'all.
