Islamic Jihadis Set Off Bomb In Jerusalem, 1 Israeli Woman Killed and 39 Injured

The jihadis have struck Israel once again and this time they used a bomb planted in a bag left outside of a bus station in Jerusalem. This attack comes just two days after a 50 mortar attack on southern Israel and just 10 days after the brutal slaughter of the Fogel family in the Israeli controlled West Bank. The bomb detonated today killed a 60 year old woman and has left 3 seriously injured, 5 moderately injured and 31 with less serious injuries.

From the article at The Jerusalem Post:

A 60-year-old woman died and 39 were injured after a bomb exploded at a bus station in central Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the explosion took place outside Egged bus number 74 at a station opposite the Jerusalem Conference Center (Binyanei Ha'uma) in the center of town.

Police said that this was the first terrorist attack in four years that involved an explosion. Police were looking for one specific person who left the bag that contained the bomb.

There were reports that witnesses were able to identify the man who left the bag and police were searching for him.

Police suspected that an explosive device inside a bag was left at the bus stop, which then exploded.

Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said that the explosive device was between one and two kilograms and was packed with shrapnel.

This is the islamic terrorist way - pack a bomb with shrapnel so as many Jewish women and children will die as possible. This is the islamic terrorist way - place a bomb where women and children will be present...don't dare take on the IDF with an attack, oh no, be the spineless chicken shit cowards that these jihadists are and prey on the innocent and defenseless. They kill women and children, they cover the streets with innocent blood and then they cry out to the world that they deserve a state.

I'll tell you what they deserve - they deserve a million hellfire missiles up their asses, sideways (hat tip: Wild) and they deserve to be eliminated from the planet. What is deserving of these misfits is a one line mention of their existence in a history book that points out that they no longer inhabit the same earth as the civilized do.

My patience is running thin with the Netanyahu administration - I want justice quickly and I want it complete.

1 dead, 39 injured in Jerusalem bus station bombing

A 60-year-old woman died and 39 were injured after a bomb exploded at a bus station in central Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the explosion took place outside Egged bus number 74 at a station opposite the Jerusalem Conference Center (Binyanei Ha'uma) in the center of town.

According to the Magen David Adom spokesperson, 39 people were injured in the attack. Three were injured seriously from the explosion itself, five moderately from shrapnel packed into the explosive device and the remainder were in light condition.

The injured were taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem, Hadassah Mount Scopus, Bikur Holim and Shaare Tzedek hospitals. All hospitals in the area were opened to receive casualties. One woman, 60, died from injuries sustained in the blast.

Interior Minister Eli Yishai called for Israel to actafter the bombing in Jerusalem and the rocket attacks in the south.

"I see the escalation is already here in a number of fronts - in the South and also in Jerusalem," Yishai said, while visiting the scene of the explosion.

He added that "recent events require us to take action. If we don't do this we will lose our power of deterrence."

Authorities said that there was no connection between the attack and events in the Gaza Strip in recent days. However, they suspected a connection between this attack and one several weeks, in which an explosive device was left on the side of a main road near Gilo.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said his main concern is that this could happen anywhere. He called the incident a "cowardly terrorist attack." Barkat added that he believes in the police's capability to catch the perpetrator. He added that in 99 percent of cases, the terrorists are found.

The mayor added that he will still participate in the Jerusalem Marathon scheduled to take place on Friday. Most importantly, he said, is to return to your normal lives so that the terrorists don't think they can win.

Large numbers of police and ambulance forces were on the scene.

Roads surrounding the scene were closed to traffic and authorities were searching the area for additional explosive devices and for a suspect. Police raised the alert level in the capital, following the explosion.

Police were beginning to reopen Highway 1 following the attack.

Hamas Backtracks On Claim Of Jerusalem Attack

Chickenshits. Cowards. Both are words to describe the vermin at Hamas. Hamas came out earlier today and claimed responsibility for the massacre of Israeli childen at the Jerusalem seminary and then just hours later, Hamas officials start backtracking and saying that the claim was premature (maybe they saw the Holger Awakens posting yesterday that said kill the leadership of any organization that even CLAIMS responsibility).
Anyway, this is what one of the yellow belly Hamas officials had to say:

Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas' military wing, confirmed the group was not taking responsibility for the attack — at least yet.
"There may be a later announcement. ... But we don't claim this honor yet," he said.
So here's the deal. Hamas Radio goes on the air with the breaking news that Hamas, the glorious fighters of Hamas (pardon me, i puked in my mouth) had done this despicable deed and once that hit the airwaves...more than likely the Hamas leadership shit a brick and figured they would be dead by morning so they sent this chump, Obeida, out there to eat some crow.

Well Hamas, I got news for you. The Israelis will find out exactly WHO did this - from inception of the plan, to strategy, to tactical matters and finally to execution. If you did it, you will pay with your lives. And if it was up to me, you'd pay with your lives for even making the claim.

Here's the full story.

Thousands Mourn Massacre at Jerusalem Seminary; Hamas Backtracks on Responsibility Claim

Masses of mourners marched in funeral processions after a rabbi recited Hebrew psalms line by line, the crowd repeating them after him in memory of the dead. Israeli officials said the victims were between ages 15 and 19 except one, who was 26. They identified one of the slain as 16-year-old Avraham David Moses, an American citizen whose parents moved to Israel in the 1990s.
Shortly after Hamas Radio went on the air with the claim of responsibility, sources told FOX News that a few officials within the militant organization were backing away from the boast.
Ibrahim Daher, head of Hamas' al-Aqsa radio, said his station put out an earlier claim of responsibility prematurely.
Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas' military wing, confirmed the group was not taking responsibility for the attack — at least yet.
"There may be a later announcement. ... But we don't claim this honor yet," he said.
It was not immediately clear whether a militant group had orchestrated the shooting.
A Hamas radio presenter earlier had said the group's military wing had "promised a jolting response" to the Israeli offensive, and called on believers to "celebrate this victory against the brutal enemy."
Israel slapped a closure on the West Bank and beefed up security and emergency forces around Jerusalem and other areas in the wake of the shooting, the first major attack in Jerusalem in four years and the deadliest in Israel since a homicide bomber killed 11 people in Tel Aviv on April 17, 2006.

Breaking: Jerusalem Shooter Identified, Family Hangs Hamas Flags In Memorium

This is a very short news release from YNET so I will excerpt it all right here:

Report: Jerusalem shooter worked as driver at yeshiva

Several residents of the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber on Friday gave the Jerusalem yeshiva gunman's name as Alaa Abu Dheim, 20, and said he had worked as a driver at the seminary.

His family set up a mourning tent Friday and hung green Hamas flags outside their home. (AP)

Now first of all, one has to be shaking his head how an individual with any even distant ties to Hamas could be working at a seminary in Jerusalem for Jewish students. Secondly, to see this bastard's family mark his death with the symbol of murder and hate - the flag of Hamas - is beyond me.
As far as I can tell, Hamas has stayed pretty far outside the realm of responsibility on this one - they know better, and in fact, this to me looks more like a Hezbollah (with Iranian planning) operation in revenge for the assassination of Mughniyeh, but if links are found to Hamas here - well Israel knows where most of those top clowns are and should show them the business end of a hellfire.
