Three Palestinians Dead, Six Missing In Gaza Tunnel Collapse

Good! These palis were smuggling weapons, ammunition and bomb making materials into Gaza from Egypt when their tunnel collapsed and this is how Middle East Times describes it:

The bodies of three Palestinians have been recovered from a smuggling tunnel between Egypt and the Gaza Strip which collapsed at the weekend, while six people are missing, medics said Monday.

Several Palestinians have died in recent months in the tunnels, which are used to smuggle arms, fuel, and other supplies into the Gaza Strip, which has been under a crippling Israeli blockade for nearly a year.

Get that? It's only because of that evil Israel's "crippling" blockade that these poor palis died! Heaven knows the Israelis shouldn't want to keep missile and bombs out of Gaza, right? I'm gonna start calling this "IDS" for: Israeli Derangement Syndrome. Haha.

Oh, and look at what this asshat had to say about the collapse:

"Egypt is attacking the tunnels on its border with the Gaza Strip because of the great American and Israeli pressure it faces," spokesman Ihab al-Ghussein said Monday, adding that American experts were advising the Egyptians.
Ghussein accused Egypt of using "dangerous methods" to destroy the tunnels, including gas and water, in addition to destroying them while people are inside, leading to an increase in the death toll.

What the fuck is wrong with these people? These palis are squeezing through these tunnels with Qassam rockets and kegs of munitions and igniter switches for bombs and we're supposed to feel sorry when the earth swallows them up? It's like blaming a gun manufacturer for the death of a bank robber whose gun goes off and kills him.

Apparently Middle East Times feels so strongly that the murder of Israeli children is so blessed an act that it's an atrocity that Egypt is trying to stop this smuggling. By the way, after Hamas literally blew their way into Egypt a number of months ago and raised holy hell in Egypt, it's not really surprising that the Egyptians don't trust that the weapons aren't coming INTO their country thru the same tunnels.

GAZA CITY (AFP) The bodies of three Palestinians have been recovered from a smuggling tunnel between Egypt and the Gaza Strip which collapsed at the weekend, while six people are missing, medics said Monday.
The tunnel near the Rafah border crossing caved in on Saturday, burying the nine Palestinians, the medics said.
Several Palestinians have died in recent months in the tunnels, which are used to smuggle arms, fuel, and other supplies into the Gaza Strip, which has been under a crippling Israeli blockade for nearly a year.
Israel, which sealed Gaza off from all but vital humanitarian aid after the Islamist Hamas movement seized power in June 2007, has accused Egypt of not doing enough to shut down the extensive tunnel network, charges Cairo denies.
Egyptian security forces last week began destroying or blocking 20 tunnels where they seized large amounts of fuel, food and cigarettes, an Egyptian security official said Thursday.
The Hamas-run interior ministry in Gaza accused Egypt of stepping up its efforts to destroy the tunnels, saying it endangered Palestinians who depend on them for basic goods.
