The crux of it is this - whether she expects the likes of Chuckie to protect her family or a 911 phone call to law enforcement to protect her family is cover for the fact that she doesn't CARE what happens to her family. Her ideology is more important than the lives of her daughter or husband. And one day her family will understand that. And realize they live with a monster.
