We should all remember those famous words from Barack Obama: "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."
We should all etch those words into a tree in our back yard, or scratch them into a wall of our homes as it was the declaration of war against the Constitution and against the American people.
This "transformation", many thought, was about social justice and reform. What we discovered during the presidency of Obama was that it was actually:
- Challenging, ignoring and rebuking the Constitution of this country
- Weaponizing Federal agencies to control and attack U.S. citizens as we saw with the IRS scandal
- Ignoring and revolting against the stated separation of powers of this federal government
The FBI, the Department of Justice, the FISA courts, just to name a few, became weaponized arms of the government and used to not only violate the Constitution and the laws of this land, but to chart a path of one particular ideology.
During the eight years of Obama, the American people did not see the Obama regime systematically take complete control of The State Department, The FBI, The Department of Justice, The IRS, The EPA, and so many others the list would become tedious.
The lesson from all of this is that it happened. We thought it couldn't. But it did. And it will continue to happen. Our Founding Fathers, wise men as they were, never envisioned a day when the separation of powers would disintegrate. They never envisioned a day when the Executive could steal power from the Legislative and the Judicial. They never envisioned branches of government that represent the people becoming spineless. They never envisioned that the death of America could come about so easily.
Your elected officials let us down. Federal bureaucrats worked to destroy your American way of life. The power remains in the peoples' hands - but no longer does that power mean a vote cast in a ballot box. No, the power resides in desire, in fight, in justice and yes, in cold steel.
