Will the Aurora Movie Theater Shooting Become America's Hungerford or Dunblane Massacre?

I have not been privy to any news media today so I really haven't had much of a chance to check the live reports in regards to the horrendous shooting incident in Aurora, Colorado at the movie theater premiering "Batman" but I did run across this article from the Lefty Loons...from The Huffington Post:

Americans might want to do something now, but their president, Barack Obama, and their only other choice for president, Mitt Romney, have both issued statements -- after a gun massacre -- that the answer is prayer.
And what about guns, and keeping them out of lunatics' hands? Obama and Romney are silent as ashes.

No American politician will even say the words "gun control." Because getting shot isn't a law enforcement issue, or even a public safety issue. It's up to God, and the heavily armed mad men he sends, and whether you just happen to be in the wrong theater seat at the wrong time.

And so it begins...just as we knew it would...the chatter from the Left in America for all guns to be banned in America.  Our current President has risked his very Presidency trying to bring a gun control victory to the lunatics on the Left - yes, Fast and Furious might just bring this President down and all for the sake of gun control in America.

We have to remember that it was two incidents nearly JUST LIKE the Aurora shootings that took nearly every gun out of the hands of the people of Great Britain.  The first mass shooting in Britain was in 1987 and is called "The Hungerford Massacre" - that incident brought about a firearms law to Britain that stripped the people of semi-automatic rifles and restricted magazines in shotguns and "The Dunblane School Massacre" happened in1996 which basically took ALL handguns out of the hands of British citizens.

Both incidents, Hungerford and Dunblane, involved children being killed - the Aurora shootings also has children as victims.

We need to mourn the loss of life in Aurora, Colorado but while the scene of death may see all to fresh, you can see the Left is not waiting to make the case, to go on the attack.  We American gun owners need to be absolutely on top of our game at this moment because we will see a pressure for renewed gun control like never before.  I predict that several Democrat Congressmen will initiate new bills as early as next week.  I don't know if Obama will risk a push before the election but the storm is coming people.  Will "The Aurora Massacre" take away your guns, America?

The story below tells a bit about The Dunblane Massacre - from the BBC.

1996: Massacre in Dunblane school gym

A lone gunman has gone on a shooting spree at a school in Dunblane, Scotland, killing 16 children and their teacher.

The killer sprayed shots at random around the school gym in an attack that lasted just three minutes, but caused carnage in a class of five and six year olds. He then turned the gun on himself.

Twelve other children were taken to hospital in Stirling, where one is reported to have later died of his injuries.

The killer has been named as Thomas Hamilton, 43, a local man, who had once - briefly - been a scout master before being sacked by the Scout Association.

'Sick and evil act'

The Queen has sent a message of sympathy to the people of Dunblane.

The Prime Minister, John Major, on a visit to Cairo, has spoken of his disbelief at what he called "this sick and evil act".

The attack happened just after 0930 GMT, as the Year One pupils were beginning an exercise class in the gym with their teacher, Gwen Mayor.

One pupil said: "We heard these gunshots from the gym and looked round and thought he must be firing at a target or something then he came out through a fire exit and started firing at our huts and we were all petrified."

William Wilson, chief constable of central Scotland, told a news conference his officers had been called to the school at 0938 GMT: "They found a scene of carnage, with 15 children dead, one teacher dead and one other dead."

Parents and carers began arriving at the school as news of the tragedy quickly spread around the town.

The Scottish Secretary, Michael Forsyth, who represents Dunblane said: "I find it difficult to express the feelings I know will be felt throughout Dunblane.

"This is a close-knit community where everyone knows everyone else and the impact of this horrible tragedy will be felt in every household."

The motive for the attack is still unclear.

Every time an incident like this happens the left tries to take our guns. They will do it again and will be able to if Obama gets a second term.
