Islamic Jihadis Set Off Bomb In Jerusalem, 1 Israeli Woman Killed and 39 Injured

The jihadis have struck Israel once again and this time they used a bomb planted in a bag left outside of a bus station in Jerusalem. This attack comes just two days after a 50 mortar attack on southern Israel and just 10 days after the brutal slaughter of the Fogel family in the Israeli controlled West Bank. The bomb detonated today killed a 60 year old woman and has left 3 seriously injured, 5 moderately injured and 31 with less serious injuries.

From the article at The Jerusalem Post:

A 60-year-old woman died and 39 were injured after a bomb exploded at a bus station in central Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the explosion took place outside Egged bus number 74 at a station opposite the Jerusalem Conference Center (Binyanei Ha'uma) in the center of town.

Police said that this was the first terrorist attack in four years that involved an explosion. Police were looking for one specific person who left the bag that contained the bomb.

There were reports that witnesses were able to identify the man who left the bag and police were searching for him.

Police suspected that an explosive device inside a bag was left at the bus stop, which then exploded.

Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said that the explosive device was between one and two kilograms and was packed with shrapnel.

This is the islamic terrorist way - pack a bomb with shrapnel so as many Jewish women and children will die as possible. This is the islamic terrorist way - place a bomb where women and children will be present...don't dare take on the IDF with an attack, oh no, be the spineless chicken shit cowards that these jihadists are and prey on the innocent and defenseless. They kill women and children, they cover the streets with innocent blood and then they cry out to the world that they deserve a state.

I'll tell you what they deserve - they deserve a million hellfire missiles up their asses, sideways (hat tip: Wild) and they deserve to be eliminated from the planet. What is deserving of these misfits is a one line mention of their existence in a history book that points out that they no longer inhabit the same earth as the civilized do.

My patience is running thin with the Netanyahu administration - I want justice quickly and I want it complete.

1 dead, 39 injured in Jerusalem bus station bombing

A 60-year-old woman died and 39 were injured after a bomb exploded at a bus station in central Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the explosion took place outside Egged bus number 74 at a station opposite the Jerusalem Conference Center (Binyanei Ha'uma) in the center of town.

According to the Magen David Adom spokesperson, 39 people were injured in the attack. Three were injured seriously from the explosion itself, five moderately from shrapnel packed into the explosive device and the remainder were in light condition.

The injured were taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem, Hadassah Mount Scopus, Bikur Holim and Shaare Tzedek hospitals. All hospitals in the area were opened to receive casualties. One woman, 60, died from injuries sustained in the blast.

Interior Minister Eli Yishai called for Israel to actafter the bombing in Jerusalem and the rocket attacks in the south.

"I see the escalation is already here in a number of fronts - in the South and also in Jerusalem," Yishai said, while visiting the scene of the explosion.

He added that "recent events require us to take action. If we don't do this we will lose our power of deterrence."

Authorities said that there was no connection between the attack and events in the Gaza Strip in recent days. However, they suspected a connection between this attack and one several weeks, in which an explosive device was left on the side of a main road near Gilo.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said his main concern is that this could happen anywhere. He called the incident a "cowardly terrorist attack." Barkat added that he believes in the police's capability to catch the perpetrator. He added that in 99 percent of cases, the terrorists are found.

The mayor added that he will still participate in the Jerusalem Marathon scheduled to take place on Friday. Most importantly, he said, is to return to your normal lives so that the terrorists don't think they can win.

Large numbers of police and ambulance forces were on the scene.

Roads surrounding the scene were closed to traffic and authorities were searching the area for additional explosive devices and for a suspect. Police raised the alert level in the capital, following the explosion.

Police were beginning to reopen Highway 1 following the attack.

The cycle of violence continues - but after the IDF "accidentally" killed three Palestinian children playing soccer, and their grandfather standing in his garden in Gaza a couple of days ago there is little Israelis can say about killing civilians. Both sides do it in this war.
So glad I don't live there.

Howard,

I'd say it's a little bit different when Hamas jihadis fire three mortar rounds at an IDF team inside Israel and when the IDF team responds back with a mortar that kills three Palestinian children who happen to be in front of the Hamas mortar team.

For you to insinuate that an Israeli response to a terror attack that leaves some Pali civilians dead IS THE SAME THING as a murdering jihadi leaving a bomb at bus station is beyond the pale.

The bomb exploded Wednesday at a crowded bus stop outside the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, just opposite the central bus station. At least 31 people were wounded in the incident, two of them seriously.

Howard Harrison gets his info from "Palestinian" sources, no doubt, and his facts therefore are most probably either erroneous, or he himself - and this is most likely - is a muzlim or muzlim sympathizer, making BS up as he goes. because muzlims lie.
