The Nightmare of Christians in Iraq: Elderly Christian Couple Stabbed To Death In Baghdad

Unfortunately, in Iraq right now there are dozens of these kinds of stories each month as the Christians in Iraq continue to see a persecution at a higher pitch than ever before. And in fact, since I spend so much time perusing articles each and every day regarding islam throughout the world, I have noticed a huge uptick in attacks on Christians in every corner of the globe by muslims.

From the article at Adnkronos:

A married Christian couple killed in Baghdad on Sunday had fled to the north to escape sectarian violence and returned to the capital to sell their home, according to Christian Iraqi website Ankawa.

Hakamat Jiburi and Samira Sabri were stabbed to death by assailants who broke into their Baghdad home and escaped on a scooter, according to Ankawa.

The elderly couple had fled to a village in northern Kurdistan in northern Iraq following attacks on Christians by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

Many of Iraq's approximately 500,000 remaining Christians are living in fear of their lives after the continuing attacks and death threats unless they leave the country.

But of course, here in America we must fall into line with the "tolerance" of islam that is demanded of us - some of us might ask why muslims in America don't denounce this kind of persecution of Christians by their brothers and sisters across the world but more than likely, my questioning that would be deemed as "intolerant" of the muslims here.

I wonder. Do you suppose killing an old Christian man and his wife in cold blood qualifies as an act of jihad and ensures a place in allah's paradise?
