Richard Andrew Meyer, Navy WWII August 10, 1926 - Sept. 13, 2010
A few days before my Uncle passed, I was by his bedside and he started reminiscing about his days in the Navy. He said that one of the most honorable things he ever did in his life was serve his Country in WWII. He said, "never give up the fight for freedom, Christie, it's our American duty."
The gentleman that played taps at the funeral, served in the Navy with my Uncle - a true blessing indeed, thank you God!!! RIP Uncle, you're in good hands...
