Over the past couple of weeks, nearly every other day you would have seen the following headlines at one of Pakistan's media outlets, DAWN - these two headlines appear today:
That's 40 Taliban killed today. And as I say, these headlines have been commonplace for weeks with this kind of success occuring in South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Swat provinces and agencies. But no, you won't read that in the MSM in America....why not? Because the Pakistani military is using rules of engagement that allow them the ability to hit the Taliban everywhere they are hiding out. Unlike the Obama ROE which protects the Taliban at each and ever turn in Afghanistan.
Look at this from one of todays stories from DAWN:
When is the last time you even HEARD of USAF F-16's hammering Taliban hideouts or compounds in Afghanistan? A year ago? A year and a half ago? I take you back to the Presidential campaign of 2007-2008 when then candidate Sen. Barack Hussein Obama said this:
So, let's be clear on this (haha), Barack Hussein Obama's strategy in Afghanistan is to keep our fixed wing aircraft on the ground and try to reduce civilian casualties to zero and the result is the Taliban becoming stronger than ever and our troop casualties soaring while in Pakistan, the military has loosed their bombers, jet fighters and Apache helicopters upon the Taliban and are killing upwards of 200 a week.
That's the ugly picture folks and so, when you hear someone say, "well, we just can't win in Afghanistan!"....just look them in the eye and say "Bullshit!" We can win in Afghanistan if our troops and our military are allowed to do their job, allowed to decimate the enemy as they have been trained to do.

Fifteen militants were killed when jet fighters attacked their hideouts in the Orakzai tribal region on Saturday, DawnNews reported.
The hideouts were targeted in upper Orakzai's Akhundkot, Terikhedzai and Mamoonzai areas.

PESHAWAR: Fifteen militants were killed when jet fighters attacked their hideouts in the Orakzai tribal region on Saturday, DawnNews reported.
The hideouts were targeted in upper Orakzai's Akhundkot, Terikhedzai and Mamoonzai areas.
Ten insurgents were injured in the action and six militant hideouts were destroyed. — DawnNews
