Is This Iran's Big Surprise? 20% Enriched Uranium?

Okay, remind me not to hire the Iranians for a huge surprise birthday party event. Iranian President Mahmoud "Trashcompacted" Ahmadinejad announced today that the Iranian regime had attained the level of 20% enriched uranium at a rally to commemorate the Iranian revolution. From the article at Breitbart:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that Iran has produced its first batch of 20 percent enriched uranium, two days after the nation launched a new uranium enrichment program.
Ahmadinejad made the announcement during a rally in Tehran to mark the 31st anniversary of Islamic Revolution.

I guess this kind of shows how archaeic the Iranian leadership really is...hell, many people were expecting the Iranians to actually test nuclear weapon!

Next time the Ayatollah wants to "stun" the West, perhaps he should think a bit bigger - we live in a land where our American President is trying to bring us to Communism...we really need more than a little announcement of 20% enrichment to suprise us, dudes.

Iran produces 20% enriched uranium: Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN, Feb. 11 (AP) - (Kyodo)—Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that Iran has produced its first batch of 20 percent enriched uranium, two days after the nation launched a new uranium enrichment program.
Ahmadinejad made the announcement during a rally in Tehran to mark the 31st anniversary of Islamic Revolution.

On the same day, thousands of activists staged an antigovernment rally in the capital and clashed with riot police who fired tear gas to disperse the crowd, according to a website operated by political reformers.

In his speech, Ahmadinejad said Iran plans to triple the daily production of 20 percent enriched uranium and asserted that Iranian scientists have the know-how to produce 80 percent enriched uranium.

Iran insists that its new uranium enrichment program is intended to supply fuel to a medical research reactor, which requires 20 percent enriched uranium.

The United States and its allies suspect Iran is pursuing a secret nuclear weapons program, which requires highly enriched uranium of over 90 percent purity.

In Vienna, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Iran began to feed low enriched uranium into 164 centrifuges at a pilot fuel enrichment plant Tuesday evening.

Looks like the Iranian midget suffers from premature articulation.
