Pakistani Army Continues To Mop Up In South Waziristan

Not a real indepth article here at DAWN, but further proof that the Taliban have taken it hard on the chin in South Waziristan.

Let's face it...17 dead Taliban isn't a bad day's work, at all.

Nice to know that at least one country's leader is intent on killing the Taliban, isn't it?

At least 17 militants killed in South Waziristan, Swat

ISLAMABAD: The military on Sunday claimed killing at least 17 militants during various clashes in South Waziristan and Swat. Search operations to flush out militants from the restive areas were ongoing.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces also recovered caches of arms and ammunition during operations in South Waziristan.
Troops established a check post in the Shah Wali area which was previously a militant stronghold, the ISPR said.
Meanwhile, in Swat, seven terrorists voluntarily surrendered to security forces at the Charbagh, Roria and Zara Khela areas. — DawnNews
