Israeli Army Chief Delivers The Bad News That Hezbollah Has Tens of Thousands of Rockets...Some Can Hit Tel Aviv

From the report at Breitbart:

Officials say Maj. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi told lawmakers Tuesday that some of the rockets can fly up to 200 miles (325 kilometers). That would put Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as well as Israel's secretive nuclear reactor in the southern desert, into rocket range.

With that capability, one has to wonder if the Israelis can even afford to wait for the next provocation for war of if they need to strike first in trying to destroy this threat by Hezbollah. Amazing isn' it? The almighty United Nations put in place sanctions on Hezbollah and the Lebanese government to stop them from rearming after the last war yet Hezbollah now has fully rearmed and plus.

At some point in time, Israel needs to prove to the world the weapons exist, give Hezbollah and Lebanon an ultimatum and if not met, initiate action to destroy that threat. The U.S. wouldn't allow missiles in Cuba capable of destroying Miami, why should the Israelis allow Hezbollah the weapons to destroy Tel Aviv?

Israel says major cities in Hezbollah rocket range

JERUSALEM (AP) - Israel's army chief says Hezbollah guerrillas now possess tens of thousands of rockets, some capable of reaching the country's major cities.
Last week, Israel seized a ship that it says was carrying hundreds of tons of weapons to the Lebanese guerrilla group. Israel and Hezbollah fought a bitter, monthlong war in 2006.
Ashkenazi delivered his assessment to a parliamentary hearing. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting was closed.

According too the Israeli newspaper www.ynetnews.com the Lebanese government has been told Israel is planning to attack Hizbulshit, and according to www.worldnetdaily.com Syria is thinking about implementing "resistance" to get the Golan back.

Sounds like some folks in middle east is preparing the way for a punch up in the near future, only this time it will reverberate throughout the world, as the lunatics are not all in the mad house.
