China's Problem With Islam Spreads

China, the giant of communism, the pillar of societal control, is finding itself knee deep in trouble lately and that festering boil is coming from the muslims in that country. We have seen all of the terrorism being put forth by the islamists in the far western province of Xinjiang but today, a total of 300 muslims in an eastern province decided to hold a protest against the Chinese government. No violence occured but mark my words...this spreading of islamic discontent in China is being orchestrated and could very well be the focal point of islamic terror efforts in the next six months.

While you see from the article a number of examples of how the Chinese are "treating" the muslim minority, remember, that view is being put out by some human rights group - I'm reminded of the human rights group that consistently reports on how oppressed the palestinians are JUST AFTER they send a barrage of rockets into Israel.

I did get one kick out of the article at Breitbart where it is mentioned:

Such discrimination includes people on public buses avoiding Muslim passengers, taxis refusing to take Muslims and feasts being held in front of mosques and Muslims during Ramadan, the month-long fast from Aug. 21 to Sept. 19, it said.

We'll keep an eye on China as it is only a matter of time before these protests turn violent and the Chinese government isn't exactly known for sitting on its hands when presented with violent unrest. And it will be fascinating to see if the islamists can pull off the Chinese version of installing "islamophobia" as a political tool in this communist country.

Muslims in China protest against racism: watchdog+

HONG KONG, Sept. 8 (AP) - (Kyodo)—About 300 Muslims staged a peaceful protest against racism in eastern China's Jiangsu Province amid signs of racial conflict spreading across the country from the riot-plagued Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, a human rights watchdog said Tuesday.
The Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy said the 300 Muslims, donning white outfits on which were printed slogans in Chinese saying "Government must have integrity" and "No discrimination against ethnic minority," protested outside Jiangsu's Nanjing city government building for five hours Monday.
Hundreds of riot police were deployed in response and no conflicts were reported, the Hong Kong-based center said, quoting confirmation from two Nanjing officials.
The center said that following reports of a spate of syringe attacks in Xinjiang, discrimination against Muslims has happened frequently in Jiangsu and nearby Zhejiang Province. Such discrimination includes people on public buses avoiding Muslim passengers, taxis refusing to take Muslims and feasts being held in front of mosques and Muslims during Ramadan, the month-long fast from Aug. 21 to Sept. 19, it said.
A riot in Urumqi, Xinjiang's capital city, on July 5 between Uyghurs and Han Chinese left at least 197 people dead and about 1,700 injured.
