Every thing he said I'd agree with. I believe he said "Austria" not "Austrian" but OK, that's minor compared to "the decider" and his countless linguistic snafus. Sure - he bowed to the Saudi king- we need them (unfortunately). At least he didn't kiss him and walk around holding hands like W.
I read an excerpt of a document from the 1st John Adams administration dealing with the Barbary Pirate problem. In the document Adams asserts that America is not a Christian nation - the government endorses no religion, at that the battles with the Barbary Pirates will not be framed by religious differences. This was in the 1790s. Face it - most of the founding fathers were not evangelicals - several were Unitarian Universalists. They looked at Europes mistakes when nations wrap themselves in religion and they did not want those mistakes repeated. Everyone (Liberals included) revises history to serve their modern agenda. The sacred and the profane should not mix.
So glad Obama won. Bet he wins twice. Be patient - only 7 and a half more years to go.

See you Monday.
Just so you don't think I'm bullshitting -

See article 11 -
Even if you disagree - the treaty is an interesting read in light of our recent pirate troubles.
Paying tribute didn't work back then either.
