The eruption of the undersea volcano off of Tonga today spewed smoke and ash into the atmosphere releasing enough carbon to negate the carbon savings of driving your Prius the entire time you've owned it. Actually, the volcano contributed enough carbon into the Earth's atmosphere that it will negate your driving your Prius for a lifetime AND all of the rest of the owners of EVERY Prius on the planet. In fact, every "green" measure instituted worldwide over the past five years was nixed by today's volcanic eruption.
But hey, thanks for giving it a shot folks!

Hilarious Holger! Then you consider that it's actually true and, well...it's just a side-splitter.
As the token "liberal" around here I just want to say that I have NEVER bought in to global warming. The Earth has heated and cooled plenty of times over the past few billion years. I'm all for measures to curb say overfishing and pollution but if we were hurting the Earth that much she would shake us off like a coat of fleas.
Somehow we will be taxed for this volcano eruption.
Goddamn it. I just wasted $34 grand. Should have bought a Hummer.
