Arab Wounds 15 Israelis In Jerusalem Driving Car Into Crowd, Driver Shot and Killed

This is certainly not the first time that a jihadist has tried to take Israelis using his vehicle and not bombs. In this attack, 15 Israelis were injured and one seriously, before the attacker was shot and killed behind the wheel. Here's some of the details from Reuters:

A car slammed into a crowd in central Jerusalem late on Monday, wounding 10 people in what police described as a "terrorist" attack, before the Arab driver was shot dead, an Israeli police spokesman and medics said.
One of those struck by the car was seriously injured, a spokesman for the Magen David Adom ambulance service said of the incident at Kikar Tzahal -- Israel Defence Forces Square -- which overlooks to the Old City of Jerusalem.
"A man in a vehicle struck a number of people in Kikar Tzahal," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said. "We can confirm it was a terror attack. The man was shot and killed."

Obviously this is a tragic attack on innocent Israelis and it just shows to what length the jihadists will go to spill Jewish blood. And quite frankly, how does a country prepare for this type of attack?

What I'd really like to point out here is the headline of this story at Reuters. I'll post the entire article below but look at the headline:

Jerusalem driver wounds 15 in "attack": police

See that? Why did this reporter put the word attack in quotations as : "attack" ? To me, and probably the rest of Reuters readers, that is purposeful and calls into question if this really was an attack. 15 wounded Israelis doesn't warrant an attack? Did there need to be a blast or shrapnel made of nails and stones? Did we need to see 5 dead Israelis for it to qualify? Or perhaps this reporter thinks this was just an accident?

This is typical for the Hamas-sympathetic Reuters and each day they report like this, bloggers like me are gonna call their asses on it. By the way, Reuters was too chicken to put up the reporter's name who wrote the article and ended the article with "Jerusalem newsroom."

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A car slammed into a crowd in central Jerusalem late on Monday, wounding 10 people in what police described as a "terrorist" attack, before the Arab driver was shot dead, an Israeli police spokesman and medics said.
It was not immediately clear who shot the driver. One Israeli television report said he was killed by a bystander.
The area would have been busy on a warm evening with people going to the area's bars and restaurants in the heart of the Jewish western side of the city.
The attack revived memories of two previous incidents in Jerusalem this year when Palestinians driving construction vehicles have attacked Israelis.

Brent,

I just read another report on this attack that says the target was a group of IDF soldiers but you are right. The Palestinians are the scourge of the earth and the fact that they are running around with weapons purchased with American aid dollars is enough to make my blood boil.
