Apparently The Ramadan Ceasefire Is Over - Pakistan Kills Over 100 Taliban

Well, as I predicted, the Taliban didn't do much to observe the peace during the month of Ramadan so it appears that the Pakistani government has called off their weakling response of a Ramadan ceasefire and is back to killing Taliban in the NW provinces of the country. Good. Here's some of the details from Sky News:

Pakistani troops backed by tanks and fighter jets killed as many as 100 militants in a restive northwestern tribal area.

'We launched strikes against militant hideouts in Bajaur and destroyed several compounds they were using,' a security official said.
'According to the latest information from the area, between 80 and 100 militants were killed,' he said, noting that the figure was based on intelligence intercepts of militant communications.
The official said the strikes were launched after the rebels ambushed a security patrol near the town of Inayat Kili. A market used by the militants for cover was entirely destroyed.
Earlier, a security official told AFP that an office of the outlawed terrorist outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had also been destroyed.
On Wednesday Pakistani troops killed 22 militants in Bajaur.

You know, this new government of Pakistan reminds me of what would happen with Barack Hussein Obama at the helm of America. They took over and decided that they would embark on a plan of appeasement and negotiation and olive branch talks with the Taliban, but after countless civilians and military were killed and attacks continued day in and day out, the government finally pulled their heads out of their asses and fought back. But, this month they reverted back to that old "peace will win them over" strategy and called off any military response for Ramadan. And that has basically lasted for a week until they could not ignore the constant ambushes by the Taliban.

I see Hussein Obama doing the same bloody thing - try and show off for the world with his gift of gab and that silver tongue and in the meantime, put Americans and all of the West in danger. If by any chance ANY Obama supporter were to read this, I implore you to learn from this Pakistani lesson.

Up to 100 militants killed in Pakistan

Pakistani forces have for weeks been targeting militant positions in Bajaur tribal region in a major operation that has seen more than 600 killed - most of them militants - and more than 260,000 people displaced.
'We launched strikes against militant hideouts in Bajaur and destroyed several compounds they were using,' a security official said.
'According to the latest information from the area, between 80 and 100 militants were killed,' he said, noting that the figure was based on intelligence intercepts of militant communications.

On Wednesday Pakistani troops killed 22 militants in Bajaur.
Elsewhere in Bajaur, Taliban militants shot dead three pro-government tribesmen accusing of spying for the authorities, a local official said.
Their bodies were found early Thursday morning near a road in the Tally area.
'They were shot in the neck and a note found with their bodies said all those indulging in activities against Taliban and cooperating with the government will suffer the same fate,' the official said.
Militants have killed several tribesmen, accusing them of spying for the Pakistani government and US forces operating across the border in Afghanistan.
Pakistan's lawless tribal regions have been wracked by violence since hundreds of Taliban and al-Qaeda rebels fled there after the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001.

Excellent comments Shark! I totally agree...they had Pakistan almost in their grips and one event really blew it for them - the bombing of the munitions factory on the outskirts of Islamabad. The next day is when the new Pakistani government started the operation in NW Pakistan.

The Taliban are gonna have to face the fact that the Arabs will fuck up their plans no matter where they are
