Well, if you thought that Russia might pull out of Georgia, it appears you would be wrong. It appears the Russian Bear is going to spend the winter in Georgia, perhaps longer. Here's some details on the brief report out of Breitbart:
Obviously, this is a good deal of conjecture on my part but if Russia decides to stay in Georgia and as the article states, absorbs the two disputed areas of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, it will become nearly impossible for Georgia to continue as a separate nation, in my view. Imagine what it would be like if the United States had another country suddenly take over California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado and Nevada? The U.S. could survive in that scenario but can you imagine the border disputes along those new borders? Can you imagine the trade nightmares, transportation issues and societal problems?
When you loook across the world, there are literally dozens of countries that have similar types of districts or provinces that are "disputed." And while those situations often are tense and violents, this is the first time in a long time that a neighboring country has decided to just roll on in and absorb the disputed lands.
What is the precedence going to mean for places like Kashmir? And how about Russia's area of Chechnya? Are the Russians open to Chechnya being absorbed?
Russia's foreign minister says the question of Georgia's territorial integrity is a dead issue, a sign that Moscow could absorb two separatist regions in the wake of recent fighting.
Lavrov tells reporters, "One can forget about any talk about Georgia's territorial integrity."

Russia: Forget Georgian territorial integrity
MOSCOW (AP) - Russia's foreign minister says the question of Georgia's territorial integrity is a dead issue, a sign that Moscow could absorb two separatist regions in the wake of recent fighting.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the statement Thursday simultaneously with the announcement that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev was meeting in the Kremlin with the separatist regions' leaders.
Lavrov tells reporters, "One can forget about any talk about Georgia's territorial integrity." That's because he believes it's impossible to persuade South Ossetia and Abkhazia that they can be forced to be a part of Georgia.

Borders are mere lines on a map, and Russia has a shit load of erasers. This has got to making the Baltic Nations and Ukranians nervous, hell I'm nervous, they must be shaking in their boots.
Hell, I miss the good old days of two years ago when we only had to worry about the jihadists starting world war 4, now we have to worry yet again about Russian expansion and the freaking Chinese taking Taiwan. Yeah, this is such a good time for the Obamamessiah to run, he will have all the time in the world to learn how to do his job, NOT!! I dont worry for me or you Big Fella, our runs are almost done, its the grandkids that I'm worried about, they are the ones that will have to grow up in this mess, if they are given half a chance, ie: we dont put Obama in the White House, imagine that with McCain they have half a chance, with Obama I dont think there is any chance at all.
Once again, Shark, we are on the same page. Obama is going to be a disaster because he simply doesn't "get it." At the same time, he has surrounded himself with military advisors who are all doves.
I'm a firm believer in Prophesy and although I have never been a fan of the end game coming in my lifetime or the next generation's but it's a bit too naive to not take in all of the signs.
