Three IDF Soldiers Killed In Gaza, Four Hamas Dead

I've got two links on this story as the one here at Breitbart has two dead IDF soldiers but more details while the brief article here at YNET shows the death tally for the IDF at three. In essence, it appears that Hamas' military wing (do they have a part of their terrorist group that ISN'T military???) tried to breach the Israeli border and when the IDF engaged further into Gaza, the three IDF soldiers were killed. From the YNET piece:

Three IDF soldiers were killed Wednesday morning during clashes between Givati Brigade forces and a terror cell near the security fence in central Gaza. Two more soldiers were mildly injured in exchanges of fire that erupted in the area.
And this from the Breitbart article:

Hamas claimed it killed the soldiers in a "sophisticated ambush" in Gaza City.
Four Hamas activists were killed in the same area, Palestinian medics said.
It's hard to tell at this point if the border assault was a ploy to lure IDF personnel into Gaza for an ambush but it certainly appears like it to me. It's pretty rare for the IDF to lose this many soldiers in one border attack. At the same time, I think it's rather obvious that Hamas has begun their second phase of the Israeli attack strategy which is a rather continual attack on the border with small cells trying to gain entry into Israel. This phase follows the rocket attacks that have gone on for months. It is still my contention that Hamas is working in conjunction with Hezbollah and the overall plan is to draw more and more Israeli troops to the Gaza border in preparation for a Lebanon offensive by Hezbollah. I think Hezbollah plans a take over in Lebanon and with less IDF forces on the Lebanon border, the quicker Hezbollah can accomplish that quickly.

Two Israeli soldiers, four militants killed in Gaza: report

Israeli troops backed by assault helicopters stormed into the Gaza Strip on Wednesday and battled heavily armed militants, killing four Hamas fighters and reportedly losing two of their own.
The clashes marked the second eruption of violence in a week in the Hamas-led Palestinian territory.
Two Israeli soldiers were killed and five wounded in an armed confrontation east of Gaza City, the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya satellite channel reported.
Hamas claimed it killed the soldiers in a "sophisticated ambush" in Gaza City.
Four Hamas activists were killed in the same area, Palestinian medics said.

Six other Brigades members were captured and taken back to Israel by the soldiers at dawn, the sources said.
The army was involved in several clashes, a military spokeswoman said.
In one battle, troops were "targeted by Palestinians and there were several casualties," she said, adding that there had been several incidents and that Palestinians had used anti-tank missiles and mortars as well as assault rifles.
The militants of the Ezzedin Al-Qassam Brigades, the Islamic movement's military wing, were killed by members of an Israeli unit backed by helicopters.

This will be an interesting summer I think. Hesbo is stirring again, syria making moves, hamas is/will always be assholes. sooner or later it will all blow, and yet once again we will step in and prevent Israel from finishing the job.
