What a joke. You gotta wonder what is the underlying sinister plot here from America's #1 home-grown terrorist group, CAIR. Here's the scoop:
Oh I'll just bet that old Yasser Moten was a model student at the Academy. I'm sure he had lots of questions about "hate" crimes against muslims and he probably stood up and proclaimed that as a muslim he is certainly owed more freedoms than the Las Vegas Police Department currently allows. I guess it just goes to show you that ANYONE apparently can attend this kind of training.
My question to the LVPD is this: Did you guys do a background check on Moten? Haha. Now that I would like to see.
This is how Yasser Moten summed up his glee with his little Police Academy certificate:
Awwww...isn't that sweet? By the way, when things go wrong in Vegas and cars start to be burned by "youths", I wonder if Yasser will be on the Citizens Police front lines?
As always, I refuse to link to CAIR's website here, but I have excerpted the entire article below. You can view the actual article at CAIR(dot)com.

"Throughout our nation, American Muslims are building positive working relationships with law enforcement agencies based on the recognition that the safety and security of the United States is a shared trust," said Moten. "We applaud the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for allowing community members to discover first-hand the principles and methods that guide its valuable work."

CAIR-NV Director Graduates from Citizen's Police Academy

The 12-week citizen's academy gives community members "first-hand information on how and why the Department operates, and examining the culture of police work and the organization." Classes focus on topics such as police department organization and ethics, constitutional law and patrol procedures.
