Three Haqqani Network Taliban Get Their Halloween Treat - a U.S. Hellfire Up Their Asses

Trick or Treat, Money or a trip to Hell?  Well, three members of the Haqqani Network in NW Pakistan are going as corpses tonight for Halloween as a U.S. drone emptied its payload of hellfire missiles onto them this morning.

Kind of a "Fright morning" rather than a "Fright Night"...one could say.

(ghoulish laugh)

The story comes from The Long War Journal.

US drone strike kills 3 'militants' in North Waziristan

The US launched its first drone strike in Pakistan in a month. Last night's attack took place in an area of the Taliban-controlled tribal agency of North Waziristan that is administered by the al Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network.

The CIA-operated, remotely piloted Predators or the more deadly Reapers fired a pair of missiles at a compound in the village of Zafar in the Miramshah area of the tribal agency, Dawn reported. The strike killed "three suspected militants" and wounded three other people, a Pakistani intelligence official claimed. The identities of those killed and wounded were not disclosed.

Last night's strike was the first in Pakistan since Sept. 30, when US drones killed three "rebels" in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan. After that strike, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement denouncing the US strike and called for the US to bring a halt to the program that targets al Qaeda, the Taliban, and a host of terrorist groups operating in North and South Waziristan. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also publicly called last week for the US to end the strikes, after his meeting with President Barack Obama.

The drone strikes are controversial, as groups such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have accused the US of indiscriminately killing civilians in strikes in both Pakistan and Yemen. But in the past week, Pakistan's Ministry of Defence released a report stating that 67 civilians have been killed in drone strikes since the beginning of 2009, and claimed that no civilians have been killed since the beginning of 2012.

The Long War Journal has recorded, based on Pakistani press reports, that at least 2,074 jihadists from al Qaeda, the Taliban, and a host of terror groups operating in North and South Waziristan have been killed in strikes since the beginning of 2009, including some of al Qaeda's top leaders. There have also been 102 reported civilian deaths in drone strikes in Pakistan since the beginning of 2009, with 15 civilians killed since the beginning of 2012. Civilian casualties are difficult to assess as the strikes take place in areas under Taliban control; the figure may be higher than 102.

The US has launched 24 drone strikes in Pakistan so far this year, according to data compiled by The Long War Journal. The number of strikes in Pakistan has decreased since a peak in 2010, when 117 such attacks were recorded. In 2011, 64 strikes were launched in Pakistan, and in 2012 there were 46 strikes.

US continues to target the Haqqani Network

Over the past year, the Haqqani Network has been in the crosshairs of the CIA. The US killed a Haqqani Network leader known as Maulana Akhtar Zadran, along with Abu Saif al Jaziri, an al Qaeda military commander from the Lashkar al Zil, in a drone strike in North Waziristan on July 2. And last month the Taliban confirmed that Badruddin Haqqani, a top leader of the group, was killed in a US drone attack in August 2012.

Most recently, in September, the US killed Mullah Sangeen Zadran, who served as the deputy to Haqqani Network operational commander Sirajuddin Haqqani, in a drone strike in North Waziristan. Mullah Sangeen also served as the Taliban's shadow governor in Paktika province, Afghanistan.

The Haqqani Network is a powerful Taliban faction that operates in eastern, central, and northern Afghanistan, and is based in North Waziristan in Pakistan. The terror group has close links with al Qaeda, and is supported by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate. Siraj is the operational commander of the Haqqani Network and leads the Miramshah Shura, one of four major Taliban regional councils. Siraj is also a member of al Qaeda's Shura Majlis, or executive council, US intelligence officials have told The Long War Journal.

Since 2008, nine top Haqqani Network leaders, including Sirajuddin and Mullah Sangeen, have been placed on the US list of terrorists; six of them were designated in 2011. All of them have ties to al Qaeda. Jalaluddin Haqqani, the patriarch of the group, is also a senior Afghan Taliban leader, but has not been added to the list. For more information on the Haqqani Network, see LWJ report, US adds Haqqani Network to list of terror groups.

Despite the known presence of al Qaeda and other foreign groups in North Waziristan, and requests by the US that action be taken against these groups, the Pakistani military has indicated that it has no plans to take on the Haqqani Network or allied Taliban commander Hafiz Gul Bahadar. The Haqqanis and Bahadar's fighters are considered "good Taliban" by the Pakistani military establishment as they do not carry out attacks inside Pakistan. In June 2012, Bahadar banned polio vaccinations in North Waziristan, in protest against US drone strikes.

Al Qaeda In Syria? Thank Turkey For That

Foreign jihadists - including Britons - are flooding into Syria to join al-Qaeda from safe houses in Turkey  Photo: GETTY IMAGES

The evidence is mounting that not only are foreign al Qaeda-linked jihadis flooding in to Syria from Turkey but that the Turkish government's blind eye to this "pipeline" has led to an almost out of control situation.

But then again, this is how it works in the Muslim world - it was only about 6 of 7 short years ago that Bashir Assad in Syria was allowing his country to be used as a pipeline for the al Qaeda types to enter Iraq to battle American troops there in the Iraq War.

I guess what goes around, comes around, eh?

The story comes from The Telegraph.

Al-Qaeda recruits entering Syria from Turkey safehouses

Hundreds of al-Qaeda recruits are being kept in safe houses in southern Turkey, before being smuggled over the border to wage “jihad” in Syria, The Daily Telegraph has learned.

The network of hideouts is enabling a steady flow of foreign fighters - including Britons - to join the country’s civil war, according to some of the volunteers involved.

These foreign jihadists have now largely eclipsed the “moderate” wing of the rebel Free Syrian Army, which is supported by the West. Al-Qaeda’s ability to use Turkish territory will raise questions about the role the Nato member is playing in Syria’s civil war.

Turkey has backed the rebels from the beginning - and its government has been assumed to share the West’s concerns about al-Qaeda. But experts say there are growing fears over whether the Turkish authorities may have lost control of the movement of new al-Qaeda recruits - or may even be turning a blind eye.

”Every day there are Mujahideen coming here from all different nationalities,” said Abu Abdulrahman, a Jordanian volunteer managing the flow of foreign fighters. He handles a network of receiving centres in southern Turkey for volunteers wishing to join al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria, known as “the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL).

He spoke from inside an al-Qaeda safe house, using the Skype account of an intermediary and with volunteers from several countries, including Britain, listening in.

Once the volunteer reaches Turkey, there are “procedures” before he can join al-Qaeda, explained Abu Abdulrahman: “If you want to enter, you have to be a proper Muslim. We have to research you to make sure you are not a spy. If you are foreign, someone in our network needs to recommend you,” he said.

These hideouts are generally apartments rented under false names in villages along Turkey’s frontier with Syria. The recruits sometimes wait for weeks until they are cleared to cross the border. The homes are also used as “rest houses” for al-Qaeda fighters from the frontline in Syria.

Perhaps 10,000 foreign fighters may now be in Syria, according to analysts. Some are hardened veterans of the Iraq war; others are young “first-time jihadists” - with a significant proportion from Western countries.

Abu Abdullah, an Australian volunteer, said that he left to fight in Syria because a “Western lifestyle stands against Islam”. He was also repelled by the atrocities of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

“When you see the women and children - any human being - being shot or raped or killed in front of their fathers and families, just because they pray to Allah, you have to be moved by the humanity of it. Prophet Mohammed said if one part of the body is wounded, then the whole body is sleepless. If just one person is injured and something goes against Islam, we must react.”

But Abu Abdullah faltered as he tried to recall a passage from the Koran: “I am sorry, I am not the most knowledgeable of Muslims. Allah forgive me for that,” he said.

Charles Lister, from IHS Jane’s, a defence consultancy, said: “There are strong suggestions that the number of foreign jihadists in Syria is increasing. Definitely taking a look at the nature of ISIL presence, the geographical spread of foreigners is expanding. This is likely to do with the ease with which recruits can cross the border.”

Another analyst said that Turkey was “turning a blind eye” to the number of foreign fighters entering Syria across its territory, including through Antakya, the capital of the border province of Hatay. The result, he added, was that jihadists had become a “thorn” in Turkey’s side, seizing de facto control of towns and villages near the border.

Turkish officials vehemently deny this, blaming the influx on the failure of the international community to settle the Syrian war. “We have never been soft on this issue. We do not tolerate the presence of extremists and terrorist elements on our soil,” said one Turkish official. “If jihadists have crossed, it has been without our knowledge and out of our control. The presence of extremists in Syria is a common concern for Turkey and other countries - and the reason why the numbers of jihadists continues to grow in Syria is because of the failure of the international community to solve the crises at hand.”

The official appealed to foreign countries not to "just point the blame" at Turkey, and to work to tighten surveillance on citizens that might want to travel to Syria: "Unless we are given information that these people are al-Qaeda members, people from a terrorist organisation, what legal basis do we have to stop them if they travel on a valid passport?"

Turkish police are seeking to close down the al-Qaeda safe houses, running raids on the apartments when intelligence about an al-Qaeda presence is gleaned. And the Turkish authorities have started improving the quality of border controls. But with more than 560 miles of shared frontier between Turkey and Syria, and with the sheer number of foreign jihadists arriving in the country, they have, so far, been unable to stem the pipeline. If the police detain someone, they are unable to imprison them or send deport them back to a home country because it is difficult to prove that they are an ISIL member, one jihadi gloated.

In the border town of Kilis, three hours drive from Antakya, jihadists feel comfortable enough to sip coffee in the lobbies of hotels murmuring quietly to their colleagues. This week the Telegraph spoke to one a member of ISIL in one of these hotels. Whether Turkey wants to or not, "she has been very good to us," the jihadi, who wouldn't be named, said, with a wink.

Ahhh...Just Rest Easy America...DHS Advisor (and Muslim Brotherhood Infiltrator) Mohamed Elibiary Says MB Isn't a Threat To America

Oh yeah, we can all sleep a helluva lot easier now that Mohamed Elibiary, the latest Muslim welcomed into the Hussein al-Obama government, has declared that the Muslim Brotherhood is no threat to the United States.

Perhaps Elibiary would like to explain this message from the Muslim Brotherhood discovered in America a number of years ago:

In order for Islam and its Movement to become "a part of the homeland" in which it lives, "stable" in its land, "rooted" in the spirits and minds of its people, "enabled" in the live [sic] of its society and has firmly-established "organizations" on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry [sic] out this grand mission as a "Civilization Jihadist" responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.

The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Proecess" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

So, we're supposed to forget those goals from 1991, clown?  The Muslim Brotherhood has followed their strategies to a tee in America and quite frankly, you lie like most people breathe air.  Your an enemy of this country, Elibiary.

The article comes from The Clarion Project.  The message from the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memo quoted above can be found at The Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Senior DHS Adviser Elibiary: Brotherhood Not a Threat in U.S.

Controversial Department. of Homeland Security adviser Mohamed Elibiary recently said on Twitter that former Egyptian President Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood leader, is “Egypt’s Mandela,” referring to the famous former President of South Africa that dismantled its racist apartheid system.

Morsi, who promised to be a president for all Egyptians, was ousted after over 30 million Egyptians demonstrated against him for unprecedented power grabs, human rights abuses (including appointing a former terrorist leader as governor of Luxor) and pushing through a sharia constitution for Egypt.

Elibiary, who is now a senior Homeland Security adviser, is a Muslim activist that led the now-defunct Freedom and Justice Foundation. He has spent years as a Texas Republican Party official and was a delegate for Senator McCain in 2008. The Obama Administration placed him on the Homeland Security Advisory Council and promoted him in September.

Elibiary also served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and the Faith-based Security and Communications Advisory Committee.

Elibiary was the subject of a damning 37-page report put together by the Clarion Project and other anti-Islamist organizations that included an extensive interview with him. Clarion has a summary of 15 disturbing facts from the report.

In an October 22 tweet, Elibiary praises Morsi as a hero on par with Nelson Mandela:

Until today, Elibiary remains adamant that the Muslim Brotherhood is still the most popular party in Egypt, even though the majority of Egyptians support banning the Brotherhood as a political party.

On October 29, Elibiary endorsed a campaign demanding that the U.S. Embassy in Cairo act to have Mohamed Soltan, an American from Ohio, released from Egyptian custody. Soltan was arrested while working at a pro-Brotherhood media outlet and is the son of an inflammatory Muslim Brotherhood leader named Salah Soltan.

Elibiary recently received attention when he tweeted that the Tea Party, a fiscally conservative political movement, is pushing “Christian Xenophobia.” He also said that Christian Zionists have a “foreign policy worldview through a dispensationalist end-time theology.”

Elibiary also said that he assumed that reporter Aaron Klein is Jewish because of his “demeanor” on television.

There is no subject that receives more attention from Elibiary on Twitter than the Muslim Brotherhood cause. The page is filled with re-tweets of Muslim Brotherhood statements and ridicule of the “Islamophobes” concerned about the radical organization.

What’s it going to take for the mainstream media to pay attention?

US drones kill 2 Shabaab operatives in southern Somalia

There's more than one way to skin a cat ....as they say.  And for Somalia's al Qaeda group, al-Shabaab, there's more than one way to pay for the attack on the mall in Kenya.

On Monday, two al-Shabaab jihadis saw their last glimpse of life as American hellfires descended upon them...fired from a drone high above.  I'd say "rest in peace" but it wouldn't be sincere and it certainly wouldn't be accurate.  Welcome to the Gates of Hell would be both more appropriate and more accurate.

The story comes from The Long War Journal.

US drones kill 2 Shabaab operatives in southern Somalia

The US killed two Shabaab operatives, including a senior explosives expert, in a drone strike that targeted a vehicle in southern Somalia today.

The remotely piloted Predators or the more deadly Reapers fired three missiles at a car as it traveled in the town of Jilib, about 50 miles north of Kismayo, Voice of America reported.

One of the two Shabaab operatives killed was Anta Anta. He was described as "the mastermind of al Shabab's suicide missions," according to VOA. He was involved in a series of five coordinated suicide attacks in 2008 that targeted the presidential palace, a UN compound, the Ethiopian Consulate in Somaliland, and an intelligence headquarters in Puntland. The identity of the other slain Shabaab operative was not disclosed.

The drone strike in Jilib was likely launched from a US base in Arba Minch in Ethiopia. The existence of the base was revealed in 2011.

Although it formally joined al Qaeda in early 2012, Shabaab has been closely tied to the global jihadist group for many years. Top al Qaeda operatives, including several who were indicted for their roles in the 1998 bombings at the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, have served in senior leadership positions in Shabaab.

Second raid by US in Somalia this month

Today's drone strike is the second reported raid targeting a top Shabaab leader in the past month. On Oct. 5, US Navy SEALs attempted to capture Abdulkadir Mohamed Abdulkadir, Shabaab's external operations chief, who is also known as Ikrima. Shabaab forces repelled the raid; the US Department of Defense said that US forces withdrew after concerns over the likelihood of civilian casualties.

Today's drone strike took place just one month after Shabaab forces launched a deadly, Mumbai-like raid on an upscale mall in Nairobi, Kenya, that resulted in the deaths of more than 65 civilians, including Europeans and Americans. Shabaab assault teams executed civilians and controlled the mall for 80 hours before explosions led to the collapse of a section of the four-story mall, which ended the siege.

Shabaab also repelled another raid by foreign special operations forces earlier this year. In January 2013, French commandos launched a failed raid in the town of Bula Marer to free a French intelligence official who had been captured by Shabaab in 2009. Shabaab fighters halted the attack and captured a French commando, who later died in custody. Shabaab released photographs of the captured soldier and weapons and gear seized during the raid, and then executed the French intelligence official.

US has targeted top Shabaab and al Qaeda leaders in Somalia before

The US has targeted top Shabaab leaders in drone and conventional airstrikes in the past. Bilal al Berjawi, a British national of Lebanese descent, was killed in an airstrike in January 2012. Al Berjawi was the senior deputy of Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, the leader of al Qaeda East Africa who also served as a top commander in Shabaab. Fazul was killed by Somali troops at a checkpoint outside Mogadishu in June 2011.

The US also killed Aden Hashi Ayro and Sheikh Muhyadin Omar in an airstrike in the spring of 2008. Before his death, Ayro was the leader of Shabaab.

Fazul and Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan, who also commanded al Qaeda East Africa, were also targeted, along with Abu Tala al Sudani, in US airstrikes in 2007 and 2008 during the Ethiopian invasion and occupation of southern Somalia. And Hassan Turki, another senior Shabaab leader who is closely tied to al Qaeda, was targeted in a US strike in 2008.

Nabhan was also the target of a US special forces raid in the Somali town of Barawe in 2009. US commandos killed Nabhan and another terrorist during the raid.

Our Military: Obama's Janissaries?

Janissaries?  What the hell are those?  Read on.

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

Our Military: Obama's Janissaries?

Last May, reading a British Daily Mail article about the umbrella incident, during which two U.S. Marines were ordered to hold umbrellas over the heads of President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a press conference in the White House Rose Garden, other than expressing my disgust for the degrading chore the Marines had to perform (against protocol), something else tickled my memory. At the time, I was engaged in other issues and that little gray gremlin never came out of the closet. Specifically, it was the picture of Erdogan, a policy pal of Obama's, flapping his gums while a Rock of Gibraltar Marine stood stoically holding an umbrella over his head, which prompted the gremlin to make his presence known.

At the time, I couldn't make the connection between Erdogan and that elusive something.

This morning, after having imbibed over the past year a number of stories of how Obama goes out of his way to emasculate the U.S. military or turn it into his personal policy enforcer (Libya, Syria, etc.), the gremlin emerged, garbed in a tall funny hat with plumes and long robes and brandishing a wicked-looking scimitar, and greeting me in Turkish - Uyan, yavaş zekâlı biri! - and in Bosnian - Probudi se, tupoglav jedan!*

Janissaries.

Who or what were the Janissaries? They were a private army of Turkish sultans recruited from prisoners of war, chiefly from the Balkans. A Harvard Center for Middle East Studies study document describes this special military arm of the Ottomans:

The Janissary Corps, yeniceri ocak or "new soldier corps," was one of two main branches of the Ottoman armed forces, the other being the Sipahis or provincial free-born Muslim cavalrymen, organized in the fourteenth century. The Janissaries were the kapukulu, "slaves of the sultan." The corps members were educated and trained for the Ottoman military and government service and became the private standing army of the Ottoman Sultan. The Janissaries became an efficient and formidable fighting force and the most outstanding army in Europe. Over time the Corps' essence and behavior and the empire's needs changed and the corps was abolished in 1826.

The Janissaries were recruited from captured Christian adolescent boys who were made to convert to Islam. They were a key element in the final capitulation of Constantinople in 1453.

Were it not for Obama's blatantly pro-Islam policies and stance over the last five years, the notion that he regarded our military forces as Janissarian tools would never have occurred to me. It didn't occur to me under George W. Bush, even though he parroted the Islamic line that Islam is a "religion of peace," nor even under Bill Clinton, in spite of his Bosnian intervention in favor of Muslims.

From his "New Beginning" speech at Cairo University in June 2009 through his Libyan intervention of 2011 to the staffing of key federal government posts with Muslims that rivals the Soviet infiltration of the government from the 1930s on through the collapse of the Soviet Union, one cannot help but think that, consequently, our U.S. military, supposedly dedicated to defending this country and the Constitution, has become a toy of Obama's ambitions. There is, of course, his friendship with the Muslim Brotherhood and his sending Marines to Saudi Arabia to train Syrian "rebels" or "insurgents" (aka jihadists) fighting in the civil war. There is the ongoing indoctrination of American military personnel - as the Balkan adolescents were - on the "beneficent" nature of Islam. Let us not forget his 2012 order to the FBI to excise all references to Islam and Muslims from the agency's training materials, and his "open immigration" policy that allows tens of thousands of Muslims to settle in this country. The instances are legion.

So, the question is: If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks like a duck, is it a duck?

That is: If, aside from his hateful moves against the military, Obama regards it as his personal palace guard ready to do his bidding, can it be said that he is treating our military as a instrument of his own personal foreign policy? Given the pro-Islam character of that foreign policy, are there not grounds for suspecting or thinking that?

This is a theme, not a charge. An analogy, not an accusation. But all the ingredients are there, and they comport with Obama's character and agenda, an agenda that is overtly pro-Islamic, proto-totalitarian, and designed to ally this country with its ideological enemies.

If we can characterize our military as a pliable force of Janissaries, why not our intelligence agencies, and law enforcement entities, as well, from the FBI on down to the local police? In Britain, local police forces act as arms of the Home Office and its policies vis-à-vis government speech codes and immigration.

For example, in 2012, the Guardian reported on the constraints on freedom of speech in Britain, citing the Public Order Act of 1986:

Section 5 of the 1986 Public Order Act says a person "is guilty of an offence if he (a) uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or (b) displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby".

There are two things wrong with this catch-all wording. First, unlike section 4 of the same act, and Britain's legislation on incitement to hatred on grounds of religion or sexual orientation, it does not require evidence of an intention to cause harassment, alarm or distress. The standard is just "likely to". Who decides what is "likely to" be caused harassment, alarm or distress? On the street, the police do.

This would account for British newspapers refusing to refer to Muslim murders, gang terrorism, rapes, and the like, but adopting instead the euphemism "Asian." It also accounts for the victims of Musim crime being harassed by the government and by Muslims, such as the woman who confronted Lee Rigby's killers in May of this year.

Is such a law possible here in the U.S.? Yes, if the Department of Homeland Security has any say in the matter. The DHS, governed for years by retired Janet Napolitano, regards itself as sacrosanct and above the law, although some journalists have attempted to uncover the corruption and waste endemic in the agency. Recently, The Daily Caller reported that a journalist's home was raided in the wee hours of the morning by federal agents, ostensively looking for guns, but actually after the journalist's notes about corruption in the Air Marshall program.

An investigative reporter in the Washington, D.C., area says armed federal agents stormed her home in August and confiscated stacks of confidential documents, leading her to fear that her undercover government sources have been exposed.

Audrey Hudson, a freelance reporter for Newsmax and the Colorado Observer, said the Department of Homeland Security and the Maryland State Police raided her home in Shady Side, Md., in August....

But Hudson told the Daily Caller that agents also confiscated documents containing information on sources within the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration. She said no subpoena was presented for the documents and said the confiscation was outside the bounds of the warrant.

She said about seven officers dressed in full body armor arrived at her home at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 6 and presented her with a search warrant. Hudson said an investigator with the Coast Guard's Investigative Service identified her as the reporter responsible for writing a series of articles critical of air marshals for The Washington Times newspaper.

Is this the wave of the future? Pre-dawn raids on journalists, or even on bloggers like me? An administration that would side with totalitarian Islam would have no qualms about establishing a police state in this country. It would be imposed under the rubric of "law and order," or "public safety." It wouldn't be fair to charge the Democrats exclusively with that predilection. Most Republicans are just as capable of wanting to set our minds right with a law and a billy club and a "night in the box."

As part of the indoctrination of our military about how Islam is a "religion of peace," and how to behave in the presence of Muslims, the Army has been calling Christian groups, as well as the Tea Party, "extremists" capable of terrorism, and warned that any soldier discovered contributing to any of those groups would be punished according the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The most bizarre instance of the military's brainwashing of its ranks was its deeming the Founders as "extremists." Infowars reported on August 24th in its article, DoD Training Manual: ‘Extremist' Founding Fathers ‘Would Not Be Welcome In Today's Military':

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch recently obtained a Department of Defense training manual which lists people who embrace "individual liberties" and honor "states' rights," among other characteristics, as potential "extremists" who are likely to be members of "hate groups."

Freedom as an "extremist ideology"? Does anyone still remember Napolitano's 2009 internal memo about the dangers posed by "right-wing extremists"? As the Washington Times reported then:

The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias. A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.

"It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," the warning says....

The nine-page document was sent to police and sheriff's departments across the United States on April 7 under the headline, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."

It says the federal government "will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months" to gather information on "rightwing extremist activity in the United States."

Finally, suppose things reached a point under Obama that the government sensed there was an uprising afoot against his policies, or at least mass civil disobedience vis-à-vis ObamaCare or illegal immigration? The Small Wars Journal in July 2012 published a paper, by Kevin Benson and Jennifer Weber, "Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A 'Vision' of the Future." The authors project a Tea Party-aligned group seceding from the Union by taking over a South Carolina town, and how the federal government would deal with it. It discusses in detail how to quell a rebellion against "big government."

In this paper, we posit a scenario in which a group of political reactionaries take over a strategically positioned town and have the tacit support of not only local law enforcement but also state government officials, right up to the governor. Under present law, which initially stemmed from bad feelings about Reconstruction, the military's domestic role is highly circumscribed. In the situation we lay out below, even though the governor refuses to seek federal help to quell the uprising (the usual channel for military assistance), the Constitution allows the president broad leeway in times of insurrection. Citing the precedents of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War and Dwight D. Eisenhower sending troops to Little Rock in 1957, the president mobilizes the military and the Department of Homeland Security, to regain control of the city. This scenario requires us to consider how domestic intelligence is gathered and shared, the role of local law enforcement (to the extent that it supports the operation), the scope and limits of the Insurrection Act--for example maintaining a military chain of command but in support of the Attorney General as the Department of Justice is the Lead Federal Agency (LFA) under the conditions of the Act--and the roles of the local, national, and international media....

The design of this plan to restore the rule of law to Darlington will include information/influence operations designed to present a picture of the federal response and the inevitable defeat of the insurrection.

Forbes Magazine's Michael Peck, in his November 15th, 2012 article, "How the U.S. Military Would Crush a Tea Party Rebellion," notes:

Curiously, the authors don't really delve the fundamental issue of American soldiers firing on American civilians, except to note that troops would have to comply with standing rules on force, which require graduated levels of violence. Civil support in South Carolina makes counterinsurgency in Kabul look like a picnic.

The old gun lobby line that a pack of civilians with hunting rifles will stop a tyrannical federal government is silly. This isn't 1776, the U.S. military is a tad better equipped than King George's redcoats, and if the U.S. Army decides to crush an insurrection, it will do so.

However, the real question is this: under what circumstances should federal troops conduct military operations against American citizens on American soil? Is this scenario likely enough that the U.S. military prepare for such operations, or should we worry that preparation will inevitably lead to action?

And there we are. Have the rank-and-file of our military been so thoroughly brainwashed by politically correctness and fear-mongering propaganda that they would act as American Janissaries against their fellow citizens? Most of the officer corps, regardless of the service, has already been suborned and co-opted. Americans face a dark future if our military no longer exists to defend our freedoms, but to quash them.

A police state established to "protect our liberties" is an ideological non sequitur and an ideational obscenity.

America has three more years of Obama. Anything can happen between now and 2016.

*Wake up, slow-witted one!

* * 30 * *

...And a coach arrived at East Capitol Street and 1st Street NW this 30th Day of October in the Year of Our Lord, 2013

1. Grim Reaper

The Grim Reaper is Death with a capital D. He is perhaps the most recognized entity of all time, neither ghost nor god; the Grim Reaper is a psychopomp who’s job is to conduct the souls of the recently dead into the afterlife. He is often depicted as a tall pale skeletal figure shrouded in a long, dark, black hooded cloak wielding a scythe which he uses to harvest souls with, although some accounts say he just touches the person to pop their soul so they don’t feel pain when they die. When he moves, he seemingly glides rather than walking. The Grim Reaper is known for not saying much, always having a grin on his face, and of course being the main focus of attention in whatever room he is in. He is able to turn his head completely around a la Linda Blair so that he can survey his domain; The Reaper must be vigilant lest someone try to cheat him.

He rides in a rickety old coach drawn by white horses that makes a god awful noise due to the stones he carries in it. When he takes someone’s soul, he drops off a stone. The Grim Reaper is not an omnipresent personification of death in charge of the entire world, but rather each area has their own Grim Reaper who serves as the Grim Reaper of the area until such a time as they find a replacement.

Britain to become first non-Muslim country to launch sharia bond

Britain continues its path down the road to full blown Sharia and Muslim status.

G_d save the Queen.

(Hat Tip:  Poppy from Scotland)

The story comes from The Telegraph.

Britain to become first non-Muslim country to launch sharia bond

Britain is set to become the first non-Muslim country to sell a bond that can be bought by Islamic investors in a bid to encourage massive new investment into the City.

David Cameron will say in a speech on Tuesday at the World Islamic Economic Forum in London that the Treasury is drawing up plans to issue a £200m Sukuk, a form of debt that complies with Islamic financial law.

The new sharia-compliant gilt will enable Britain to become the first non-Muslim country to tap the growing pool of Islamic investments that is forecast to top £1.3 trillion by next year.

The Prime Minister will say that it would be a “mistake” to miss the opportunity to encourage more Islamic investment in the UK and that the City of London should rival Dubai as a centre for sharia-compliant finance.

“When Islamic finance is growing 50pc faster than traditional banking and when global Islamic investments are set to grow to £1.3 trillion by 2014, we want to make sure a big proportion of that new investment is made here in Britain,” Mr Cameron will tell an audience of senior officials from Islamic countries.

Among those at the meeting are Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, King Abdullah of Jordan, Afghan president Hamid Karzai and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain.

The World Islamic Economic Forum has never been held before in a non-Muslim country and highlights the growing role London is playing in the Islamic finance industry.

The London Stock Exchange is preparing to launch an Islamic Market Index to help the managers of sharia-compliant funds identify new investment opportunities.

The UK’s plans to issue its own Sukuk could lead to billions of pounds of British gilts being sold to Islamic investors, enabling the Treasury to diversify away from its traditional sources of funding.

“For years people have been talking about creating an Islamic bond – or Sukuk – outside the Islamic world, but it’s just never quite happened,” Mr Cameron will say. “Changing that is a question of pragmatism and political will. And here in Britain we’ve got both.

To comply with sharia law, Islamic investors are forbidden to receive interest. Sukuks avoid this problem by ensuring the fixed return investors receive on the debt is linked to the profit generated by an underlying asset.

The value of Sukuks already listed on the London market has reached $34bn (£21bn) over the past five years with nearly 50 bonds quoted by the London Stock Exchange.

Sharia-compliant funds have already been used to fund some of the capital’s largest developments, including the Shard and the Olympic Village.

More than 20 banks currently offer Islamic financial products and services in the UK, more than any other Western country, with the number expected to grow further.

The Government has put securing links with growing financial centres in Islamic countries and fast-growing Asian markets at the heart of its plans for the City.

Earlier this month the Chancellor, George Osborne, announced a deal with China to make London a leading centre for the growing trade in renminbi-denominated assets and to make it easier for Chinese banks to set up investment banking operations.

Islam vs. Islamism

Know the difference, know the trap, America and know the spin.

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

Islam vs. Islamism

It has become fashionable among the cognoscenti to distinguish between Islam and Islamism. In fact, the Quilliam Foundation, focused on religious freedom, has promoted the distinction along with many quite reputable analysts of Islamic behavior. Presumably the latter believes in the imposition of faith over society by violence or law; while the former rejects violence conducting itself as any other religion might. This distinction has a hopeful ring to it since one may embrace the faith and abandon the ideology, thereby stabilizing presently unstable societies.

But suppose this is a distinction without a difference. After all, the Islamist is willing to die in order to spread the faith, his death a testament of his religious devotion. Most people would say this is fanatical, but from the Islamists' perspective this is a tactic that intimidates religious rivals driving them to appease or convert. Without having to utter a threat, Jews and Christians know that any criticism of Islam, even mild criticism, could lead to retributive violence. This is what gives Islamism its advantage.

Islam, by contrast, is regarded as benign, a pathway to Allah like any other religion. But is this true? Admittedly most Muslims are not violent, yet it is also the case that violence perpetrated against infidels is clearly suggested in the Koran. Koranic dogma indicates there is only one true religion and its adherents have an obligation to spread the faith.

The democratic belief in self-expression is suppressed by the religion and the ideology. In fact, the ideology springs from the religion. The Medina period in the Koran is fraught with violence embodied in the Verses of The Sword and the good Muslim is one who gives himself to the collective, the umma. Although the Koran is not written chronologically, some assume the Mecca period or peaceful interlude in Islamic history is what should be emphasized. Yet Muslim scholars accept the principle of abrogation, i.e. that which comes later is more holy than what came before. Hence, Medina trumps Mecca.

This principle confounds Western diplomats who wish to create their own reality. In a sense it is like the difference between Hamas and Fatah. Fatah or the PLO is willing to engage in discussion with Israeli leaders. Photos are taken and smiles are exchanged. Nonetheless, the goal of Fatah is clearly stated in its own documents: the extermination of Israel with Palestinian borders from the Jordan to the Mediterranean. Hamas is not as subtle. It will not negotiate; it will not engage in photo opportunities, but it is firmly and unalterably committed to the destruction of Israel. What is the real difference?

Diplomats deny intentions, just as many in the West comfort themselves by generating false distinctions among Muslims. It should be restated that most Muslims are not terrorists. Most are not violent. Yet it cannot be denied that most terrorists are Muslim. It is politically incorrect to say that, even though almost everyone in the West knows the truth of that statement.

As a consequence, we build institutions on quicksand. We persuade ourselves that there is a way to fix the problem by defining it in a manner that satisfies our basic instincts. It is hard to imagine a religion that values death over life. There is an unwillingness to concede the underlying imperial desire in Islam is to spread caliphates across the globe using any means necessary. The definitions speak to us as tranquilizers. It simply feels better to deny the truth. Unfortunately the truth does not disappear like soap bubbles. Its ugly face appears and reappears.

Boko Haram Surprise Attack On Military Base Kills 35 Soldiers, Maybe More

Boko Haram is becoming more and more bold.  Nigeria better start calling for help....NOW.

The story comes to us from over at The Gateway Pundit.

Boko Haram Attacks Military Base – 35 Soldiers Slaughtered

Boko Haram attacked the provincial capital in Yobe State today.
35 were reportedly killed.
The Telegraph reported:

Dozens of bodies in military uniforms have brought to a morgue in northern Nigeria after Islamist fighters staged a surprise attack on a provincial capital, hospital sources said.

Nigerian army sources confirmed that some of the casualties were soldiers but added that Boko Haram gunmen often wore military fatigues as disguise during their missions.

The deaths followed hours of fighting in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state in Nigeria’s far northeast, late on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday.

Gunmen stormed a military checkpoint and opened fire, launching a seven-hour gunbattle that left an unknown number of people dead and the town under a 24-hour curfew, which has since been reduced to 4pm to 7am.

“We have received lots of bodies in the last three days from the attacks. I counted 35 bodies in military uniform,” a senior official at the Damaturu Specialist Hospital told the French news agency, AFP.

Muslim Russia?

Recent riots in Moscow in front of the Kremlin.

A huge article from Daniel Pipes....pay close attention, everyone when you cannot quite figure out why Russia is acting the way they are acting.  Remember this article.

It comes from The Clarion Project.

Muslim Russia?

By Dr. Daniel Pipes
October 24th, 2013

Discussions of Islam in Europe tend to focus on places like Britain and Sweden but Russia, the country with the largest Muslim community in both relative and absolute terms, is above all the place to watch.

The stabbing murder on Oct. 10 of an ethnic Russian, Yegor Shcherbakov, 25, apparently by a Muslim from Azerbaijan, led to anti-migrant disturbances in Moscow, vandalism and assaults, the arrest of 1,200, and brought a major tension in Russian life to the fore.

Not only do ethnic Muslims account for 21-23 million of Russia's total population of 144 million, or 15 percent, but their proportion is fast growing. Alcoholism-plagued ethnic Russians are said to have European birth rates and African death rates, with the former just 1.4 per woman and the latter 60 years for men. In Moscow, ethnic Christian women have 1.1 child.

In contrast, Muslim women bear 2.3 children on average and have fewer abortions than their Russian counterparts. In Moscow, Tatar women have 6 children and Chechen and Ingush women have 10. In addition, some 3-4 million Muslims have moved to Russia from ex-republics of the U.S.S.R., mainly from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan; and some ethnic Russians are converting to Islam.

These trends point to Christians declining in numbers by 0.6 percent a year and Muslims increasing by that same amount, which will have dramatic effects over time. Some analysts foresee Muslims becoming a majority in the twenty-first century – a demographic revolution that would fundamentally change the country's character. Paul Goble, an expert on Russian minorities, concludes that "Russia is going through a religious transformation that will be of even greater consequence for the international community than the collapse of the Soviet Union." A Russian commentator he quotes envisions a mosque on Red Square in Moscow. The facile assumption that Moscow is and will remain Western-oriented "is no longer valid," he argues. In particular, he predicts that the Muslim demographic surge "will have a profound impact on Russian foreign policy."

Within a few years, Muslims will make up half the conscripts in the Russian army. Joseph A. D'Agostino of the Population Research Institute asks: "Will such a military operate effectively given the fury that many domestic Muslims feel toward the Russian military's tactics in the Muslim region of Chechnya? What if other Muslim regions of Russia—some of which contain huge oil reserves—rebel against Moscow? Will Muslim soldiers fight and kill to keep them part of the Russian motherland?"

Russia's increasingly confident Muslims, who constitute a majority of 57 out of the country's 182 ethnic groups, have started to use the term Muslim Russia to signal their ambitions. According to Muslim analyst Daniyal Isayev, this term affirms that Islam is "an inalienable part of Russia" and that "Russia as a state and civilization could not exist without Islam and the Muslims." He notes that Muslims preceded ethnic Russians in much of the territory that is now Russia. His sweeping claims for Muslims include the exaggerations that they made critical contributions to Russia's culture and its military victories.

Such talk causes ethnic Russians to shudder about the country's population loss of at least 700,000 people a year, return to their faith, and turn against Muslims. The results include biased media portrayals, attacks on mosques and other crimes, efforts to block Muslim immigration, and the rise of extreme Russian nationalist groups such as Alexander Belov's "Movement against Illegal Immigration."

The Kremlin has responded to the issue in contradictory ways. Then-president Dmitry Medvedev in 2009 tried appeasement by stressing the importance of Islam to Russia, noting that "Muslim foundations are making an important contribution to promoting peace in society, providing spiritual and moral education for many people, as well as fighting extremism and xenophobia." He also announced that, due to its large Muslim population, "Russia does not need to seek friendship with the Muslim world: Our country is an organic part of this world."

But, as Ilan Berman of the American Foreign Policy Council points out, "the Kremlin has discriminated against its Muslim minority and ignored (even abetted) the rise of corrosive xenophobia among its citizens. This has bred resentment and alienation among Russia's Muslims – sentiments that radical Islamic groups have been all too eager to exploit." Added to existing Islamic supremacist attitudes, this results in an increasingly restive Muslim minority.

Discussions of Islam in Europe tend to focus on places like Britain and Sweden but Russia, the country with the largest Muslim community in both relative and absolute terms, is above all the place to watch. The anti-migrant violence this week will surely be followed by much worse problems.

The Ugly Truth About Ugly Michelle Obama

Wait, did I use one too many "ugly" 's in the title of the blogpost?  Oh well, don't have time to fix it now.

It's about time someone focused a bit on the past of one, Michelle Obama - I know it bugs the ever loving shit out of Barry to have people take shots at his wife so we should actually be doing it 24/7.  Besides, she hates America and deserves it.  Just tell the truth about this pompous black nationalist with the anger complex and watch King Barry come apart at the seams.

This story comes from Family Security Matters.

Michelle Obama and Princeton Pal Sponsored Pro-Terrorism Speech

First Lady Michelle Obama and her Princeton classmate whose company received the no-bid government contract to build the HealthCare.gov Obamacare website were both members of a black student organization that caused a tense scene on campus by inviting a PLO leader who advocated for terrorism.

Michelle Obama '85 and her classmate Toni Townes-Whitley '85, a senior vice president at CGI Federal, were both students at the university when their groups the Organization of Black Unity (OBU) and the Third World Center (TWC) engaged in a confrontation with Jewish students on campus.

Michelle Obama was a member of both the OBU and TWC during her time at Princeton (1981-85). Townes-Whitley also belonged to OBU and TWC.

"It was an ugly scene, but few expected perfect harmony when the OBU, in conjunction with the Third World Center (TWC), invited Hassan Rahman, the Palestine Liberation Organization's deputy UN observer, to appear on campus," according to a January 25, 1982 Princeton Alumni Weekly (Volume 82) article entitled "War of Words" in the column "On the Campus" by Ted Lempert '83.

Rahman "reiterated the PLO's position that the Palestinians deserve a homeland and that they are entitled to use terrorism to achieve their goal, just as American revolutionaries did against the British."

"We have the right to kill them if they are traitors and negotiate with the Israelis," Rahman said of non-PLO supporting Palestinians at the event.

"The OBU met with Jewish students to discuss the event, and Hillel leaders affirmed Rahman's right to speak on campus... As about 400 students poured into McCosh 50, tension replaced this short-lived calm. The entire center section of the auditorium had been reserved for TWC members, most of whom are black. The remainder of the audience, mostly Jews, filled the outer sections. OBU's Murphy stepped to the microphone, but instead of giving a standard welcome and introduction, he noted the ‘subdued controversy' surrounding the speech and noted that disruptions ‘would not be tolerated.' He even mentioned the possibility of disciplinary action or prosecution. Patrolling the room were a dozen OBU members wearing security badges, a supplement to the university proctors manning the doorways. Before Rahman had said a word, hopes of a congenial atmosphere were dashed."

“For the question-and-answer session, OBU monitors took down the names of those wishing to ask questions. No questions could exceed one minute, and follow-up questions were not allowed. Because of time restraints, only the first person on each list was recognized.

“Organizers adhered closely — almost militantly — to their rules, intimidating and antagonizing many,” Hillel member Stuart Rabner ’82 wrote in a Princetonian column. “One usher warned Hillel Rabbi Edward Feld to be silent or proctors would remove him physically. Rabbi Feld had apparently disrupted the event at one point by shouting ‘answer the question.’”

Michelle Obama, according to a 2008 puff piece in the Boston Globe, served on the Third World Center’s governance board and was particularly active in OBU.

“Although Obama had friends who were both black and white, her social world revolved around several of the black organizations on campus, as it did for many other black students,” the Globe’s Sally Jacobs wrote. “Obama was a member of the Organization of Black Unity, a primary resource for black students on campus which arranged speakers and programs.”

Obama and Toni Townes-Whitley, senior vice president at CGI Federal, are now both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

Toni Townes ’85 is a onetime policy analyst with the General Accounting Office and previously served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, West Africa. Her decision to return to work, as an African-American woman, after six years of raising kids was applauded by a Princeton alumni publication in 1998.

George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.

As reported by the Washington Examiner in early October, the Department of Health and Human Services reviewed only CGI’s bid for the Obamacare account. CGI was one of 16 companies qualified under the Bush administration to provide certain tech services to the federal government. A senior vice president for the company testified this week before The House Committee on Energy and Commerce that four companies submitted bids, but did not name those companies or explain why only CGI’s bid was considered.

Pakistani Christians Pistol-whipped For Not Converting To Islam

A Christian in Pakistan - can you imagine?  Even for a minute?

The story comes from Morning Star News via The Religion of Peace.

Muslims in Pakistan Arrested on Forcible Conversion Charges

LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News ) – Police in Islamabad have arrested three Muslims for pistol-whipping a Christian and his teenage nephews after they refused to convert to Islam, sources said.

The assailants in an Islamabad suburb allegedly have links to a banned Islamic extremist group. The primary suspect, Muhammad Nadeem, and others approached a 43-year-old Christian, low-level government worker Boota Masih, the night of Oct. 4 in the Khokhar Town area of suburban Islamabad, Masih said.

“At around 9 p.m. my teenage nephews and I were standing in the street along with some Muslim neighbors when Nadeem and three of his accomplices approached us on two motorcycles,” Masih said. “At that time we were discussing the recent terrorist attacks in Peshawar, including the one on a church [in which more than 80 Christians were killed and several dozen injured when two Uzbek suicide bombers targeted the Sunday service].”

The visitors joined the conversation, which turned tense when Nadeem said Christians had altered the Bible over the years and that Christianity was “a distortion of facts.”

“He then bluntly asked me to convert to Islam,” Masih said, adding that Nadeem told him, “Islam is the only true faith, and you must join us to fulfill Allah’s will. The West and Zionists are hatching conspiracies against Islam because they are scared of its rise and popularity in their countries … They know one day Allah will give the whole world in our control and every person will become a Muslim.”

Masih told Nadeem that he wasn’t interested in discussing religion with him, and that he should stop unnecessarily criticizing Christianity, he said.

“The other Muslims present there also objected to Nadeem’s provocative remarks and told him to leave us alone, but he refused to leave, threatening instead that they would make sure that all Christians ‘seek forgiveness’ and ‘embrace Islam,’ or else they would have to face the ‘consequences,’” he said.

Masih said that when Nadeem refused to back down in spite of several warnings, a scuffle broke out between them.

“Nadeem and two of his accomplices hit us with the butts of their handguns, besides punches and kicks, and waved their weapons in the air to prevent others from intervening,” he said.

The assailants left him and his two young nephews lying on the road, bleeding profusely, he said.

Masih said that Nadeem was said to be a local ruffian who has been named in several criminal cases, but that this was the first time he had been involved in a religiously motivated incident.

“If a local maulvi [Islamist cleric] pressured us to change our faith, I would not have been surprised, but being forced by a local criminal to convert to Islam was shocking for me,” he said.

The next afternoon, Masih said that he and his family were out shopping when a neighbor called him by cell phone and told him that Nadeem and two others had attacked his home.

“We rushed back to our house and saw that the door of the house was damaged,” he said. “Nadeem and his accomplices had fired at the door, and bullet holes were also visible on the wall and façade of the house. I thanked God that none of us were present in the house when all of this happened, or else the loss would have been irreplaceable.”

Masih said that he decided to register a complaint with the Shahzad Town Police Station against Nadeem and two of his unidentified friends. Shahzad Town Inspector Asjad Mahmood told Morning Star News that police investigated and registered a case against the assailants for forcible conversion under penal code sections 506, pertaining to criminal intimidation, and 298, “deliberate intention of wounding the religious feelings of any person.”

The three Muslims who tried to force Boota Masih and his nephews to convert to Islam have been jailed, and police have prepared charges against them, Mahmood said.

“The accused admitted that they had forced Masih and his nephews to change their faith and also confessed to have attacked his house when they refused,” Mahmood said. “Such incidents cannot be condoned, as no one can impose their belief on others.”

Sub-Inspector Azhar Mahmood, the investigating officer in the case, also told Morning Star News that he had found that Nadeem and his accomplices had tried to force Masih and his nephews to renounce Christianity.

“Nadeem is a local criminal, and several cases are already registered against him,” Azhar Mahmood said. “We are still investigating his links with banned outfits, but during interrogation it was revealed that he’s also hooked on drugs, which might have played a role in his errant behavior.”

He said that on Oct. 11, when he escorted Nadeem and the others to court for their hearing, the primary suspect’s parents were also there. He said that Nadeem started verbally abusing his parents, telling them that they should stop worrying about him as he had “devoted himself to serving Islam.”

The police official said that area residents had told officers that Nadeem and his accomplices had recently started picking quarrels with Christian residents. He added that there were about 200 to 300 Christian families in Khokhar Town, but that this was the first time a Christian had registered a formal complaint against Nadeem and his friends.

“We have assured the Christians that we will protect their lives and property from such anti-social elements, but they should also trust us and inform whenever they face such a situation,” he said. “Islam preaches peace and tolerance, but such elements are maligning its image by imposing their own brand of religion.”

Hamas Issues Order To Shoot Any Opposition Protesters In the Head

I shouldn't have to remind anyone that Hamas is the governing body of Gaza, it is the government so what we are now seeing is an elected government issuing a death warrant against any political opposition in the land they govern.

This is no different than the government of Turkey issuing a command that all political opposition that shows up to rally on a Turkish street will all be shot through the head.

Oh yeah, good old Hamas...the "poor and oppressed" Hamas...let's give these blood thirsty killers more money, right Hillary?  right John Kerry?  right Barack Hussein Obama?

The story comes from Israel National News.

Hamas Orders: Shoot Protesters 'In the Head'

Hamas has reportedly issued orders to shoot any opposition protesters in the head.

Sources in the Palestinian Authority told the Palestine Press news agency on Saturday that the Interior Minister in Hamas’s government in Gaza, Fathi Hamad, has instructed security forces to be tough on any anti-Hamas demonstrator who will take part in a campaign by the opposition scheduled to begin on November 11.

According to the report, these instructions to the security forces were given out during a meeting between Hamad and the security forces. The meeting was attended by senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar, and dealt with ways of dealing with the planned mass protests against the Hamas government.

During the meeting, Hamad reportedly said, "I want you to shoot in the head any person who comes out against our government. I do not want anyone injured.”

According to the sources, it was Al-Zahar, usually known for his extremist views, who explained that Hamad did not mean for security forces to shoot protesters in the head, but rather to act to prevent chaos on the streets of Gaza.

The "Tamarod" youth movement in Gaza has called for mass-demonstrations against Hamas on November 11th, on the anniversary of the death of PLO leader Yasser Arafat.

"Tamarod" (or "Rebel") is the name of the popular anti-Islamist youth movement which led popular protests against Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi in the run up to his removal by the military.

Tamarod calls Hamas a “gang,” slamming it as morally and financially corrupt, and blames the Islamist movement for the imposition of Islamic law on many aspects of Gazan life, corruption, killing innocent people, demolishing mosques, and oppressing the population of Gaza in the name of religion.

In recent months, Hamas security agencies have detained dozens of Fatah-affiliated political activists, accusing them of belonging to Tamarod.

The Iraqi Slaughter This Weekend

As I predicted, this weekend has been an absolute bloodbath in Iraq and the latest wave of bombings occurred early this morning where 41 Iraqis were killed and more than 100 were wounded.  There were AT LEAST 10 separate bombs detonated within a 40 minute period.

Couple today's early attacks with what happened yesterday - where a marketplace was bombed killing 17 people and reports are still coming in for more and more violence across the country.

The report of today's 10 bombing attacks comes from The New York Times.

Wave of Car Bombs in Iraq Kills Dozens

BAGHDAD — Ten car bombs targeting Shiite neighborhoods hit the Iraqi capital Sunday morning. All 10 bombs went off within 40 minutes, starting from 9:30 a.m.

Forty-one civilians were killed and more than 100 others were wounded, according to security and medical officials. Ambulances rushed to hospitals and security forces tightened measures around checkpoints to search each passing car, creating a traffic jam.

Most of the bombings targeted public markets and bus stations. In Huriya, a neighborhood in the northwestern part of Baghdad, five people were killed and 12 were wounded when a bomb exploded in a parked car near a public market.

In Abu Dshir in southern Baghdad, another bomb in a parked car went off near a public market, killing six civilians and wounding 13 others.

Other car bombs targeted the districts of Saba al-Bor, Mashtal, Baladiyat, Ur, Bayaa and Nahrawan, where two bombs exploded.

“I don’t remember how I stopped the car,” said Saad Muhseen, a 45-year-old engineer who was wounded in the Abu Dshir bombing. “While the windows of the car smashed on my face and body, I was in a shock for few minutes. After that the first thing I did was to call my wife. I just wanted to hear her voice. She didn’t say a thing, but she was crying.”

Obama Administration Throws Israel's Mossad Under the Bus

The American people have two choices:  1.  Remove Barack Hussein Obama from Power   2.  Continue a death spiral for this country economically, morally and globally.

That's it.  YOUR choice, America.  The world is ready to help our destruction slowly but surely.  You see, the fact of the matter is....Chicago thug politics doesn't work well on the global scene.

The story comes from Israel National News.

U.S. Hinted to France: Mossad Behind Elysee Palace Hacking

France believed the United States attempted to hack into its president's communications network but the U.S. hinted that Israel was behind the attack, AFP reported on Friday, based on a leaked U.S. intelligence document.

According to the report, U.S. agents denied having anything to do with the May 2012 cyber attack on the Elysee Palace, the official residence of French presidents, and appeared to hint at the possible involvement of the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency.

The report is based on a classified internal note from the National Security Agency. Extracts from the document, the latest to emerge from the NSA via former contractor Edward Snowden, were published by Le Monde newspaper on Friday.

The document is a briefing note prepared in April this year for NSA officials who were due to meet two senior figures from France's external intelligence agency, the DGSE.

The French agents had travelled to Washington to demand explanations over their discovery in May 2012 of attempts to compromise the Elysee's communications systems.

The note says that the branch of the NSA which handles cyber attacks, Tailored Access Operations (TAO), had confirmed that it had not carried out the attack and says that most of its closest allies (Australia, Britain, Canada and New Zealand) had also denied involvement.

It goes on to note, "TAO intentionally did not ask either Mossad or (Israel's cyber intelligence unit) ISNU whether they were involved as France is not an approved target for joint discussions."

Le Monde interpreted this sentence as being an ironic reference to a strong likelihood that Mossad had been behind the attack.

The cyber attacks on the Elysee took place in the final weeks of Nicolas Sarkozy's term, between the two rounds of the presidential election which he ended up losing to Francois Hollande.

The attacks had been previously reported by French media, who have described them as an attempt to insert monitoring devices into the system but it remains unclear whether the presidential networks were compromised for any time.

Hollande said Friday that French intelligence services had identified "several leads" for the attacks, speaking in Brussels after EU summit talks, according to AFP.

He did not elaborate further, but his comments came after he and German Chancellor Angela Merkel pushed for Washington to agree on new rules on the conduct of intelligence gathering among allies.

Merkel herself has also reportedly been the target of U.S. espionage, with claims emerging this week the U.S. tapped her mobile phone.

"Spying between friends, that's just not done," an angry Merkel said Thursday at the start of the summit of European Union leaders, which was overshadowed by the issue.

The latest Le Monde report follows revelations published earlier this week that the NSA collected more than 70 million recordings of French citizens' telephone data - a claim contested by the top U.S. intelligence chief.

The Guardian reported on Thursday, also based on a classified document provided by Snowden, that the (NSA) monitored the phone conversations of 35 world leaders after being given the numbers by an official in another U.S. government department.

The leaders were not named. Responding to the report, a White House spokesman would only say that the United States “gathers foreign intelligence of the type gathered by all nations.”

This Could Be the Deadliest Weekend In Iraq In Over 10 Years

The weekend, which I predict will be the bloodiest in over a decade in Iraq, started off just that way as 16 people were killed in a wave of bombings across the country.

We have all of Saturday and Sunday left - and it's a Shia holiday...hmmm....you starting to understand my prediction a little better?

The story comes from The Telegraph.

Shi'ites targeted in multiple bomb attacks in Iraq

A series of bombs killed at least 16 people across Iraq on Friday as Shi'ite Muslims celebrated a holy festival, police and medical sources said.

Nine bombs were detonated by remote control. The deadliest were two roadside devices that exploded in quick succession in a market in the Shi'ite town of Yousufiya, 20km (12 miles) south of Baghdad, killing at least seven people.

It was not immediately clear who was behind Friday's attacks, but Sunni Islamist insurgents who view Shi'ites as apostates have been regaining ground in Iraq this year, reversing a drop in the level of violence.

In Baquba, at least four people were killed by six roadside bombs planted near the homes of Shi'ite families who had recently returned after being displaced from the area due to fear of attacks by al Qaeda Sunni militants.

A roadside bomb exploded in a Shi'ite neighbourhood of western Baghdad, killing at least four people. In Buhriz, a bomb attached to a car killed one member of a Shi'ite family, police said.

Al-Gadeer is one of the biggest festivals for Shi'ites who renew their pledge of allegiance to Imam Ali, the second-most important Islamic figure for Shi'ites after the Prophet Mohammed.

Al Qaeda's Iraqi affiliate was forced underground in 2007 but has now re-emerged and earlier this year merged with its Syrian counterpart to form the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, which has claimed responsibility for attacks on both sides of the border.

The insurgents have exploited worsening relations between Iraq's Shi'ite-led government and the country's Sunni minority, which complains it has been marginalised since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled dictator Saddam Hussein in 2003.

Violence which had eased after a climax in 2006-07 is now growing again, with more than 7,000 civilians killed this year, according to monitoring group Iraq Body Count.

Last week, a suicide bomber driving a minibus blew himself up outside a café in a mainly Shi'ite Muslim district of Baghdad, killing at least 38 people.

Iranian Rebels Kill 14 Iranian Border Guards Friday Night So Iran Hangs 16 "Rebels" On Saturday

This is pretty typical of the totalitarian regime of the Ayatollah in that when their security forces are attacked and suffer a huge loss on Friday night, they just round up 16 people at random and hang 'em and use that as a warning for future rebel attacks.  Let's be clear - the insurgents who killed the 14 Iranian border guards did NOT hang - these were people already in custody or under suspicion.  This is flat out murder of the citizenry.

And you wonder if the Iranians would use the bomb on Jews?

The story comes from DAWN.

Sixteen hanged after 14 Iranian border guards die in attack

TEHRAN: Iranian authorities on Saturday hanged 16 “rebels” following overnight clashes between alleged rebel groups and Iranian border forces in which 14 border guards were killed on the frontier with Pakistan, a judicial official said.

“Sixteen rebels linked to groups hostile to the regime were hanged this morning in the prison of Zahedan in response to the death of border guards in Saravan,” Mohammad Marzieh, the attorney general of Sistan-Balochistan province, was quoted as saying by Fars news agency.

“We warned the rebel groups that any attack targeting civilians or members of the security forces would not go unanswered,” he added.

Earlier, Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported armed men killed 14 border guards in clashes Friday night in a mountainous region outside the southeastern town on the border with Pakistan.

“Fourteen border guards were killed during armed clashes in the region of Saravan, and five others were wounded,” the agency quoted an informed source as saying, only identifying the gunmen as “bandits or rebels opposed to the Islamic republic”.

Deputy Interior Minister Ali Abdollahi said that the guards had been killed during the ambush set by Iranians who were “members of hostile groups”.

He claimed that “three soldiers have been taken hostage and taken to the other side of the border in Pakistan”.

Saravan lies in the southeastern province of Sistan-Balochistan near the Pakistani border and is home to a large community of minority Sunni Muslims, unlike the rest of Shia-dominated Iran.

The Sistan-Balochistan province has seen militants from the Sunni group Jundallah (Soldiers of God) launch bloody attacks in recent years.

It was still unclear whether the attackers were drug smugglers or armed opposition groups.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, officials said a Pakistani was killed and four others injured when Iranian border force personnel opened fire in Washap area on the Pakistan-Iran border.

The apparently unrelated incident took place close to Taftan town on the Pakistani side of the border and around 100 kilometres from Zahedan, the main town in Iran’s Sistan province.

A Levies paramilitary official, who requested customary anonymity, said five Pakistanis tried to illegally enter the Iranian side of Washap area this morning when border policemen opened fire on them.

“Iranian border force opened fire when they crossed Pakistan’s border and entered the Iranian side of Washap area,” he said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in Taftan town for medical treatment. The Levies official said all injured Pakistanis had received bullet wounds.

Security was tightened on both sides of the border soon after the incident.

Iran is a major transit route for drugs that originate in Afghanistan and is trafficked across its territory, with much of it bound for Western countries.

People smugglers also use the route to traffic illegal immigrants to Europe, via Iran and Turkey.

The Islamic republic says it is fighting a deadly war against drug traffickers who make up half its prison population.

But militant group Jundallah has also launched attacks on civilians and officials in Sistan-Balochistan, including a December 2010 suicide bombing in the city of Shabahar that killed 39 people.

Iranian authorities hanged 11 suspected members of Jundallah at Zahedan prison in December 2010 in response to the deadly bombing of the Shia mourning procession in Shabahar.

Jundallah, whose leader Abdolmalek Rigi was hanged in June 2010, has been waging a deadly insurgency in southeastern Iran for almost a decade.

The group says it is fighting for the rights of the ethnic Sunni Balochis who make up a significant part of the Iranian province’s population.
