To Kill a Murderer
Twenty years ago, Nathan Dunlap walked into a Chuck E. Cheese in Aurora, Colorado. Holmes, the future mass killer who would go on to make Aurora briefly famous after opening fire in a movie theater, was six years old at the time. Just old enough to patronize a Chuck E. Cheese.
Dunlap had been fired from the restaurant in the spring of that year and told a friend that he wanted to get even, go in and take all the money. One cold wintry evening he walked in, put a gun to the head of a 19-year-old girl at the salad bar and pulled the trigger. Then he killed three others and stole $1,591 before being arrested by the police.
Over the next twenty years, Dunlap and his lawyers did everything possible to get their client off. They claimed that his trial lawyers were incompetent, that he was abused as a child and that he had mental problems. That same claim is made by the defenders of nearly every murderer on death row. There has yet to be an inmate on death row who isn't a mentally ill child who was sexually abused by his incompetent lawyers.
Dunlap's case went to the Colorado Supreme Court three times and once to the Supreme Court. And that means that after twenty years, he may finally be executed. The taxpayers of Colorado have spent millions fighting Dunlap's lawyers. Aside from the usual attempts to keep Dunlap from facing the death penalty, the ACLU sued Colorado over exercise privileges for the Chuck E. Cheese killer.
"Depriving Mr. Dunlap of fresh air, sunshine, and outdoor exercise for 15 years is cruel and unusual punishment," the ACLU legal director said last year.
In Georgia, the murderer sympathy vote is swarming around Warren Lee Hill.
Like Dunlap, Hill is a multiple murderer. In 1986, Hill shot his girlfriend 11 times. Four years later he beat another inmate to death in prison with a nail-studded board. Hill was finally on the verge on being executed, but his defenders had one last gimmick arguing that Georgia can't kill Hill, because he only has an IQ of 70.
America's greatest mentally retarded president, Jimmy Carter, came out in Hill's defense and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals stepped in a half hour before Hill would have faced justice. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals is not supposed to handle death penalty cases, but activist judges know no boundaries and the court has stepped in to halt two of Georgia's executions in two days.
Hill only began claiming that he was retarded in 1996, ten years after his original murder, at which point his IQ scores, formerly in the mid-70s, dropped down to a more appropriately low level. Despite supposedly being retarded, Hill had managed to serve in the military and hold down steady jobs, not to mention murder two people. But no one has established whether Hill is mentally retarded within a reasonable doubt.
Christof Heyns, the UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions, who has also claimed that drone strikes are a war crime, declared that "the world community is again watching Georgia with great concern as it prepares to carry out another grotesque and unjust execution." The South African Heyns did not say whether he would be willing to be locked in a cell for 24 hours with Hill and a nail-studded board.
Andrew Cook, the other death row inmate on whose behalf the 11th Circuit intervened, came up with an even better gimmick. Cook claimed that he couldn't be lethally injected with pentobarbital without a doctor's prescription. What should have been a punchline to a standup comedian's joke is an actual tactic that pro-murderer death penalty opponents are using to stop Georgia from killing murderers.
European drug companies are refusing to supply drugs that can be used for lethal injections to the United States leading to a shortage of pentobarbital. Lethal injection however is only the most painless way to kill murderers. There are other less cleaner ways that states will have to resort to if the drugs aren't available. The electric chair is used in nine states, the gas chamber in four states and the firing squad in two states. If we ever run out of bullets, gas and electricity, New Hampshire, the Live Free or Die state, authorizes an old-fashioned rope hanging if the drugs run out.
Cook, who can't be killed without a doctor's prescription, murdered a young couple by a lakeshore lover's lane 18 years ago. There is no word on whether he got a doctor's note before killing Grant Henderson and Michele Cartagena. Cook didn't know the young couple, he just wanted to see if he could kill someone and get away with it. Now he wants to see if he can get away with murder by demanding that a doctor write a prescription for his lethal injection.
In Florida, the battle is on over Paul Augustus Howell. Howell tried to murder another member in the Jamaican Posse drug ring with a pipe bomb because she could tie him to the murder of another drug dealer over a kilo of cocaine. The bomb was put inside a microwave oven which was gift-wrapped and driven to her in a stolen car by a member of the gang. The car was stopped along the way and Jimmy Fulford, a state trooper, unwrapped the booby-trapped oven suspecting that there were drugs inside. Instead the bomb exploded in his hands. That was over twenty years ago.
Howell's defenders are making the usual arguments about unqualified lawyers. And the lawyers are always unqualified. Each set of lawyers claims that the previous set was unqualified and neglected to provide a proper defense by exploiting every possible gimmick. The gimmick in the Howell case is that his lawyer's wife apparently received a death threat from one of Howell's associates back when he was defending him in a previous drug case.
Apparently getting a death threat from the associates of the man you are defending in a previous case represents a conflict of interest.
Like every other murderer out there, Howell's lawyers have also claimed that he was abused as a child and might be mentally ill, if not mentally retarded. With that kind of legal obstacle course, it's a wonder that any murderer ever makes it to the end of the line. But you can always count on Texas to deliver the goods.
In 1994, Carl Blue filled up a Big Gulp cup with gasoline, threw it at his girlfriend and then set her on fire with a lighter. Carmen Richards-Sanders died horribly after clinging to life for 19 days with burns over 40 percent of her body. Even in Texas it took 19 years to get Blue, who had been smoking crack before the attack, to his final end.
Along the way, Blue's lawyers claimed that he was also retarded because he had been born premature and had to be kept in an incubator and that the attack had only been a prank, even though Blue told his girlfriend, "I told you I was gonna get you" as she was burning up.
Blue said that he didn't feel that he was guilty of murder, but that he still expected to go to heaven and wanted to be buried in a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. There's no telling whether he will get his wish, but the cowboy state did execute the Big Gulp killer, making him the first Texas killer to die this year. And the second killer in the United States to be sent beyond the reach of any living ACLU lawyer and into the jurisdiction of the dead ACLU lawyers in the underworld.
In Tennessee, Christa Gail Pike, the only woman on death row, is also pleading mental illness and mental retardation. In 1995, Pike lured another girl whom she suspected of trying to steal her boyfriend into the woods, stabbed her with a meat cleaver and carved a pentagram on her chest. The torture went on for 30 minutes until the victim's skull was finally smashed in with a chunk of asphalt. Pike even kept a piece of her victim's skull in her jacket as a souvenir, despite claiming that the brutal murder had just been another prank that got out of control.
At her sentencing, the prosecutor read a letter that she had written to her boyfriend. "Ya see what I get for tryin' to be nice to that hoe? I went ahead and bashed her brains out so she'd die quickly instead of letting her bleed to death and they f***ing fry me!"
Like Hill, Pike didn't stay idle in prison. Instead she tried to murder another inmate with a shoelace over yet another romantic triangle. And she filed numerous appeals. Her original lawyers were incompetent and she suffered from PTSD and all sorts of mental problems. The latest filings claim that Pike should have gotten a change of venue, a fairer jury and a gag order on the media. It claims that death by electrocution is cruel and unusual punishment and that the victim's skull should not have been submitted into evidence. Finally the claim claims that Pike's original lawyers were incompetent because they failed to argue that the death penalty was illegal under international law.
As February fades, these are just a few of the battles being fought for decades by prosecutors against the murderers and their defenders. It is a long slow war that costs millions and that ends only when the needle goes in and the life of a murderer ends.
The details of each battle remain mostly the same. Each murderer is a victim. Each one was abused as a child and suffers from mental illness and diminished intelligence. Each one was denied a fair trial. There is little point in paying attention to these monotonous defenses of evil. What is interesting is the motivation behind them.
The Pro-Murderer Anti-Death Penalty lobby is very wealthy and very active. The rights of criminals have always been more protected than those of victims and the war being waged on the death penalty is an international campaign.
While the parents of victims wait decades for closure, the international left wages a ceaseless war against them.
In Tennessee, the mother of Pike's victim has been waiting nearly twenty years to bury that piece of her daughter's skull. As long as Pike lives, the State of Tennessee has to hang on to it as a piece of evidence in the legal war between Pike's defenders and the People of Tennessee. Only when Pike is dead, will her victim finally be buried at last.

Churchill’s Children
by PETER FARMER
In the early 1930s, as the storm clouds of fascism gathered on a distant horizon few could see, Winston S. Churchill warned a somnolent Europe of the enormous danger posed by Hitler and Nazism. Today, we know "The Last Lion" as perhaps the greatest statesman of the 20th century and the man who did more than any other to warn the world of the threat posed by a resurgent and hostile Germany.
Today, we have the benefit of hindsight and thereby know how prescient Churchill's warnings proved to be. In the 1930s, however, the perception was very different. Isolated in the back benches of Parliament, Churchill was seen as a has-been, a pathetic and lonely figure trying unsuccessfully to resurrect a failed political career by raising the alarm about a threat only he could see.
History has a funny way of turning the tables on people grown smug and complacent in their view of reality, and the changing fortunes of Mr. Churchill and his critics certainly prove the point. In the early 1930s, the smart money said that the aging parliamentarian was not just wrong but deluded - but by 1940, the smart money had been proven to be dumb and no one was laughing at the old warrior any longer.
The perseverance and courage of "The Last Lion" come to mind today, when seeing the example set by Lars Hedegaard, Kurt Westergaard and Geert Wilders.
Like Churchill some eighty years ago, they stand almost alone in warning the people of Europe of the growing danger in their midst, only this time the threat is not National Socialism, but something much older - what Churchill might have called "Mohammedanism," and what we know today as Islam.
As a young cavalry officer, Churchill fought with the forces of General Sir Herbert Kitchener at the Battle of Omdurman in the Sudan, where in 1898, a force of eight thousand well-armed and equipped British Army regulars defeated a vastly larger Mahdi force of Sudanese Muslims. Immediately after the battle, Churchill returned to Britain and began writing the manuscript for what became a two-volume work entitled ‘The River War," a history and memoir of the Sudan campaign. Of the Mahdis he encountered, he wrote:
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
Churchill proved to be remarkably prescient not only concerning Nazism, but concerning the resurgence of Islam and the threat it would pose against Europe and western civilization. Were he alive today, what would he say concerning the fate of his beloved Britain and the rest of Europe?
The formidable and pugnacious Mr. Churchill is no longer with us, but his successors are. Men like Geert Wilders, Lars Hedegaard and Kurt Westergaard carry on the defense of western civilization and its ancient traditions, much like the fierce "Last Lion" did before them. Metaphorically, we can call them "Churchill's children," even if they are not directly descended from the great man himself. Who are these brave men?
Hedegaard and Westergaard are Danish, while Wilders is Dutch. Hedegaard is a journalist, Westergaard a political cartoonist; Wilders is a member of the Dutch Parliament. Despite the diversity of their backgrounds, all three men share something in common: each has been marked for death by Islam, and all have survived threats or actual assassination attempts upon their lives. All now live under police protection. These three men also share the willingness to risk ridicule, censure, legal sanction and even physical harm or death - in speaking what they see as the truth about Islam to a civilization in denial.
In 2005, the Danish daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten published several of Westergaard's cartoons, some of which caricatured the Muslim prophet Mohammed - thereby setting off a firestorm of indignation within the Islamic world and within politically-correct circles in the west as well. For the "crime" of exercising his freedom of expression, an imam issued a fatwa condemning Westergaard to death. In 2010, Westergaard survived a home invasion in which a Somali Muslim armed with an axe broke into his residence in Aarhus, intending to kill him. However, Danish security forces shot the attacker before he could complete his mission.
In February 2013, Lars Hedegaard, the head of the Danish Free Press Society, survived an assassination attempt at his Frederiksberg home, when a male of Middle Eastern appearance - disguised as a Danish postal carrier - fired a handgun at Hedegaard after he answered his door to take delivery of a parcel. After the first shot narrowly missed his head, Hedegaard and his assailant struggled, whereupon the gunman regained possession of the weapon and attempted twice to fire again. Fortunately for Hedegaard, the pistol jammed both times. The assailant and a collaborator fled on foot.
Why was the 70-year old journalist and former teacher targeted? Authorities believe the precipitating event was the launch of the new Danish-Swedish periodical Dispatch International, which was formed in part to cover stories that other Scandinavian media outlets were not running, including the effects of Islamic immigration and law on the indigenous people of Europe. In the past, Hedegaard has been a frequent critic of Islam and a staunch defender of free speech.
Almost alone among mainstream European political leaders, Geert Wilders has sounded the alarm about the relentless Islamicization of Europe, and the assault being waged upon freedom of expression by Muslim immigrants intent upon importing sharia law. In 2004, Wilder's friend and fellow Dutchman Theo Van Gogh was assassinated by Mohammed Bouyeri - allegedly for his role in the creation of the film Submission, which was/is critical of Islamic treatment of women. Rather than be intimidated into silence, Wilders intensified his efforts, culminating in the book "Marked for Death." Wilders, who continues to serve in the Dutch parliament, has survived several assassination attempts and now he and his family live under permanent police protection. He continues to travel, and speaks and writes widely on the subject of Islam and Europe.
Wilders, Westergaard and Hedegaard have been attacked and vilified in every way possible by their adversaries; they have been threatened and targeted physically, they have been sued, charged with hate crimes, libeled, slandered, subjected to propaganda and smear campaigns, and ridiculed at every turn - and not only by Muslims. Sometimes, those attacking them are their own countrymen and fellow Europeans. Through it all, they have remained resolute in their defense of the centuries-old traditions and freedoms of western civilization.
As determined as these men are, they cannot defend western civilization and its freedoms alone. The hour is late and time is short. Heedless of the defense mounted by "Churchill's children," Islamic advocates are currently working furiously at the United Nations to pass measures criminalizing speech and other forms of expression critical of Islam. Similar initiatives are underway in multiple countries across the globe. All are being financed by petro-dollars from the Middle East, if not directly then via indirect means.
In Great Britain, some workplaces have outlawed the eating of pork and other foods offensive to Muslims. In Canada, so-called human rights tribunals can prosecute Canadians - in the country of their birth, no less - for the "crime" of speaking about Islam in an unflattering way. In Oslo, Norway, one-hundred percent of cleared (solved) cases of rape for a recent year were committed by Muslim men against Norwegian women. Nevertheless, the official denial by the European Union continues and Muslim immigrants still flow unabated into the west.
When will others come to the aid and defense of "Churchill's children" - Geert Wilders, Lars Hedegaard, Kurt Westergaard and a very few others - as they man the battlements in defense of our civilization? A right unexercised is a right lost. If the people of the western world decline to exercise their rights of self-preservation and expression as free men and women, one day in the not-so-distant future, they may find that they no longer possess them.

Obama Wants To Gut America's Military, Slash Defense Spending...So What Is India Doing In This Riskier World? Increasing Defense Spending By 21 Percent
Doesn't it seem odd that nearly every country in the world right now has the blinders off and sees more of a threat of war and terror and overall violence so they are fortifying their defenses to keep their people safe but in America, the leader of this country wants our defense budget slashed and our troop levels diminished?
Let's look at India - this is a country that sees the threat of Iran's nukes, it sees the rise of the Taliban in Pakistan, it has lived through some horrific Islamic terror attacks and so their response is this:
India on Thursday hiked its defence spending by 21 per cent to $42.7 billion and promised that strains on the public finances would not hamper moves to modernise the million-plus military.
Just as a reminder, this is what Barack Hussein Obama has in mind:
But hey, you all feel safer than you did 4 years ago, right?

India hikes defence spending by 21 per cent
NEW DELHI: India on Thursday hiked its defence spending by 21 per cent to $42.7 billion and promised that strains on the public finances would not hamper moves to modernise the million-plus military.
The latest increase is likely to upset Pakistan, which has fought three wars with India since independence in 1947 and has a testing relationship with its neighbour.
The Indian government, one of the world’s largest arms buyers, will raise defence spending to 2.3 trillion Indian rupees ($42.7 billion) for the financial year to March 31, 2014, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said in his budget.
The figure is up a fifth from 2012-13 when the defence budget stood at 1.9 trillion Indian rupees.
“I assure the house that constraints will not come in the way of providing any additional requirement for the security of the nation,” Chidambaram told parliament.
The minister earmarked $16 billion as “capital expenditure” in line with India’s ambitious moves to acquire the latest hardware.
India is on the brink of buying 126 French Rafale fighter jets for $12 billion and is shopping for some 400 combat helicopters worth tens of millions of dollars, as well as artillery, drones and electronic warfare systems.
India and Russia in 2010 agreed to jointly build 250 advanced stealth fighter jets worth $25 billion.
New Delhi is also locally building a nuclear-powered submarine as well as a range of nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles which can strike deep inside China.
The two Asian giants fought a brief but a bitter border war in 1962 and despite several rounds of talks the two sides have failed to resolve their territorial disputes.

Taliban In Pakistan Continue Their Education "Reform" By Blowing Up 4 Schools
Extremist militants opposed to co-education have destroyed hundreds of
schools, mostly for girls, in northwest Pakistan in recent years.—File

No one was killed in the bombings in northwest Pakistan but the Taliban have successfully set education back a number of months in the region as they blew up four boys schools.
It really has started - the iron grip of the Taliban in Afghanistan that we saw before the War in Afghanistan, where the Taliban shut down the education of all Afghan kids, well...we are seeing a taste of that here in northwest Pakistan. I mentioned a number of weeks ago that in my view, the Taliban are going to do their best to cede a portion of northwest Pakistan to Afghanistan when they have regained control of that country in early 2015.

Militants bomb four schools in Mohmand tribal region
PESHAWAR: Suspected Taliban militants bombed four boys’ schools in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal belt on Thursday, officials said, in the latest attack by militants on government educational institutions.
No one was injured in the pre-dawn blasts in Mohmand tribal district, where officials said Taliban attacks have now destroyed more than 100 schools.
“Militants from TTM (Tehrik-i-Taliban Mohmand) blew up the buildings of four schools at around 2:30 am,” an intelligence official in Mohmand told news agency AFP.
Liaqat Ali, a government official, confirmed the incident and told AFP that militants planted locally made explosives to dynamite the school buildings.
“All the four schools were completely destroyed, the number of schools destroyed in Mohmand is now more than 100,” Ali said.

Shocking Facts on Female Genital Mutilation
Thank goodness for the gang over at Radical Islam who are not afraid to tell it like it is and not shun any subject. The more light that is shown on the practices of the minions of Satan, the followers of Mohammed the better we will all be off.
Shocking Facts on Female Genital Mutilation
Last fall, Mohamed Kandeel, a physician and member of the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research – a partner of the World Health Organization (WHO) – published an article in which he argued for the legalization of the procedure widely called “female genital mutilation” (FGM).
His reasoning? Because it is practiced by Muslim cultures throughout Africa and much of the Middle East, and the Muslim community, he noted, “is the second largest in the world.”
Kandeel’s ideas may be all wrong, but his facts are shockingly correct: The WHO estimates that between 100-140 million women and girls have undergone FGM, with millions more likely to be victimized, and the overwhelming majority of these women and girls are Muslim. (FGM does take place in non-Muslim cultures in Africa and among Coptic Christians in Egypt, but it is by no measure as widespread.)
And it isn’t just in Africa and the Middle East, but in our own neighborhoods as well: According to Emine Bozkurt, a member of the European Parliament in Brussels, “Approximately 180,000 women in Europe undergo or are in danger of undergoing FGM every year.”
In the Netherlands alone, according to a recent Dutch report, about 30,000 women have been circumcised, and another 40-50 girls are expected to undergo genital cutting each year – one a week – despite stringent laws against it.
And all of these women are Muslim, coming largely from Egypt, Somalia and Iraqi Kurdistan – a fact that even Amnesty International prefers to sweep under the rug. A spokeswoman for the organization’s “Stop FGM” project was quick to advise that “FGM is a tribal practice that pre-dates Islam. It isn’t part of Islam and it isn’t in the Koran.”
True or not (the Koran doesn’t call for women to wear hijabs or burqas, either), the Muslim community remains criminally silent about the mutilation and violation of its women and – as with Dr. Kandeel – even goes so far as to endorse it.
Moreover, notes Dr. Phyllis Chesler, a scholar on honor-related violence and the author of Woman’s Inhumanity to Woman, “What began and has remained as an African and tribal practice has been heartily adopted by Muslims and that in the world today, it is practiced by many Muslims either in or from Egypt, Somalia, Sudan, Muslim Nigeria, Sierra Leone and other African non-Muslim countries. It is also practiced in non-Arab Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population.”
Others agree. Thomas von der Osten-Sacken and Thomas Uwer, for instance, writing together in the Middle East Quarterly, have further pointed out that “at the village level, those who commit the practice believe it to be religiously mandated.”
That fact may well explain why immigrants and refugees to Europe from Africa and the Arab region – the bulk of whom come from rural areas – insist on continuing this barbarism even in the face of potential criminal charges, and why some physicians even agree to perform the surgery. (Though some mothers – and it is traditionally mothers and grandmothers who do the cutting – perform the ritual on their kitchen tables, using knives, scissors, or even glass.)
Forms of FGM vary, depending on local culture and traditions, and, in some cases, religious ideology (arguments to the contrary notwithstanding). But in all cases, the practice is not only barbaric; it is devastating to the women. “The pain and trauma of the actual genital mutilation, usually carried out by women, traumatizes a girl forever,” explains Chesler. “But it may also make urination, deflowering, childbirth painful in a torturous way. Hundreds of thousands of women develop fistulas after childbirth and are rejected by their own people because feces and urine just seep out of them. They become pariahs.”
Yet shockingly, as loudly as the West continues to condemn FGM, the Muslim communities even of Western countries remain, for the most part, silent. They do not march in defense of their own women against this practice. Female community leaders do not reach out to educate the families of girls at risk. Imams do not attempt to edify their flocks. This community, which regularly makes death threats against cartoonists for their drawings, has not a word at all to say about the unspeakably inhuman abuses against their own women.
But what these new reports also make clear is that the problem of FGM in the West is larger than most of us realized. And if the Muslim communities won’t step in to stop it, then we must; because what matters isn’t whether it is tradition or religion that began it. What matters is that it end.

Taliban Poison and Then Assassinate 17 At Police Checkpoint In Afghanistan
The story comes from DAWN.
Taliban kill 17 at Afghan police checkpoint
KABUL: Taliban insurgents poisoned and then shot to death 17 people in an overnight attack on a government-backed militia post in eastern Afghanistan, an Afghan official said Wednesday.
The militants somehow poisoned those inside the outpost, incapacitating them, before gunning them down Tuesday night, said Abdul Jamhe Jamhe, a leader of the Ghazni provincial government.
The method of poisoning was unclear, he added.
The dead included 10 members of the government-backed Afghan local police, and seven of their civilian friends, said Provincial Gov. Musa Khan Akbarzada. He says there was a conspiracy of some sort but declined to confirm if poison was involved.
The lightly trained Afghan Local Police, a village-level force backed by US troops and overseen by the Ministry of the Interior, is tasked with helping bring security to remote areas. But Afghan President Hamid Karzai has expressed concern that without careful vetting, the program could end up arming local troublemakers, strongmen or criminals.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack.
He told news agency the Associated Press by telephone that the attackers shot the men dead in their sleep but that no poison was involved.
Mujahid also claimed responsibility for a bombing in Kabul earlier in the day that wounded up to ten people.
The attacks come three days after a would-be car bomber was shot dead by police in downtown Kabul. That assailant was driving a vehicle packed with explosives and officials said he appeared to be targeting an intelligence agency office.
It also comes as the US-led military coalition in the country is backing off from its claim that Taliban attacks dropped in 2012, tacitly acknowledging a hole in its widely repeated argument that violence is easing and that the insurgency is in steep decline.
Latest Muslim Massacre of Christians In Nigeria Kills 10 Members of the Same Family, 5 Children UNDER SIX YRS OLD Among the Dead
Nigeria has become the killing field for Christians and the shock from the latest brutal massacre by Muslims in the north is going to be slow to wear off as 10 members of the same family were shot and hacked to death. And to make it even more shocking...half of those 10 family members killed were children under the age of six years old.
So now a Christian child under the age of six is a threat to the "great" Mohammed?

Nigeria Christians Mourn Their Dead After Massacre, Attacks
ABUJA, NIGERIA (Worthy News)– Christians in central Nigeria could mourn their dead Sunday, February 24, after the massacre of a Christian family while sectarian clashes killed one person and left churches, homes and mosques burnt, officials said.
In one the worst incidents since Thursday, February 21, suspected Muslim attackers used machetes and guns to murder 10 members of the same Christian family in Plateau state, with half the victims under the age of six, the military and government confirmed.
"A [Christian Berom] family of 10 were … murdered" by Muslim Fulani herdsmen said Pam Ayuba, the governor's spokesman, in published remarks. "Five little children including a two-month-old child were slaughtered."
Members of the mostly Christian Berom ethnic group, who consider themselves the state's indigenous people, have previously accused the military of involvement in violence on behalf of the Fulani.
MILITARY DENIES WRONGDOING
However French news agency AFP quoted a military spokesman in Plateau, Lt. Kingsley Amos, as saying no soldiers were involved in the attack.
"Somehow, some hoodlums and criminals gained access to our old uniforms…but I can assure that none of our people were involved," he said.
Soon after Thursday's massacre, frustration over deep rooted religious tensions emerged around a football fiend in neighboring Taraba state where riots left at least one person dead, authorities said.
The violence Saturday, February 23, in the central town of Wukari began when Muslim and religious Christian football teams argued over who had the right to a football pitch, Taraba state police spokesman Amos Olaoye said in a statement.
TWO SIDES ATTACK
"While the two sides were arguing, a local hunter returning from the bush was passing and the two sides made for his gun, which resulted in a struggle," he said. "The gun went off, killing one person, and fighting broke off between the two sides."
AFP quoted him as saying that several buildings "were burnt in the violence including places of worship" such as churches, mosques as well as homes.
It was not immediately clear how extensive the damage was as security forces were focusing on restoring "normalcy as well as law and order," Olaoye said.
Analysts say Islamist group Boko Haram, or 'Western education is a sin', has encouraged the sectarian violence.
WIDER DEADLY CAMPAIGN
It has waged a deadly insurgency in north and central Nigeria as part of its efforts to establish an Islamic state, killing hundreds since 2009, and urging surviving Christians to leave.
Hard-line Islamists are also accused of using the airwaves to spread hatred. On Saturday, February 23, Nigeria confirmed it had suspended the licence of a radio station for allegedly encouraging deadly attacks on polio clinic.
Suspected Islamic gunmen attacked two polio clinics in the northern city of Kano on February 8, killing at least 10 people, after Wazobia FM broadcast a story reviving claims that the vaccines are part of a Western plot to harm Muslims.
Two journalists and an Islamic cleric were reportedly charged with inciting violence, but the station chief Sanusi Kankarofi denied the allegations, and resigned in protest after his colleagues were charged.
POLIO EMERGENCY REMAINS
Nigeria is among the last three countries still considered to have endemic polio, along with Pakistan and Afghanistan, according to international aid workers.
Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, a Christian from the south, has come under pressure from Christians and rights activists to do more to tackle Islamic extremism.
His government claims it takes the threats seriously by sending additional troops to key trouble spots.
The country of 150 million people and Africa's largest oil producer is divided between the mostly Muslim north and largely Christian south.

The Syrian Civil War Is Over. Assad Is the Victor. Peace Talks Signal the Rebels' Surrender.
Now, that headline may make some waves but if you believe the article from DEBKA, it's a fact that Bashar Assad has weathered the storm in Syria and has remained in power and will remain in power. It's over. The rebels put up a solid effort but between Iran and Russia's support of Assad...well, was there ever much doubt?
So now, Assad's major dilemma is going to be what to do with hundreds of al Qaeda misfits running around his country unwilling to give up the ghost. Perhaps Mr. Assad will look back at the fact that he allowed al Qaeda to funnel through his country and enter Iraq a few years back. I know, Bashar Assad isn't that retrospective to think about that kind of stuff.
As the article states, one of the biggest losers in all of this is Turkey - they are going to have hell to pay on numerous fronts after this is all over.

Assad Pulls Ahead in Syrian War. Putin, Khamenei Are Co-Victors
March 5 has been set as the date for peace talks to open in Moscow between the Syrian opposition and the Assad regime, debkafile reveals here exclusively. Opposition leader Moaz al-Khatib is waiting to meet the Assad regime’s representative, possibly Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, in the Russian capital by the end of February to set up the talks. Bashar Assad has taken his resignation off the agenda and insists on reserving the option to run again for president in 2014. He is backed in this by President Vladimir Putin. And even the Syrian opposition appears to have tacitly bowed to this precondition – an admission that the rebel movement has reached its limit and Assad’s genocidal, no-holds-barred tactics have paid off. With all their acclaimed victories, rebel forces know that their desperate bid to conquer Damascus was repulsed by the Syrian army’s superior fire power and heavy armor. They were thrown back from the heart of Aleppo, Syria’s largest city. And they failed to gain control of Assad’s chemical arsenal. Ferocious fighting failed to bring the big Syrian Air Force bases into rebel hands. Now, most of the fighting opposition to the Assad regime is ready to negotiate terms for a ceasefire as the opening gambit for a political settlement. They face their enemy standing firm as the unvanquished ruler of Syria and commander-in-chief of its armed forces at the cost of Syria 80-100,000 Syrian lives and a ravaged country. In so doing, Assad has cemented the Tehran-Damascus-Hizballah alliance. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s’s sphere of influence now stretches from the Persian Gulf up to the Mediterranean – his reward for the billion dollars worth of aid per month he poured into buttressing Assad. His other ally, Hassan Nasrallah, whose Hizballah operatives fought shoulder to shoulder with Syrian troops, emerges as the strongman of Lebanon. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Assad’s staunch backer in diplomacy, arms and moral support, congratulates himself for picking the winning side in Syria’s civil war and, moreover, frustrating US and NATO designs to remove the Syrian ruler from power. Those are the winners. And the losers are the United States, the Gulf emirates and Saudi Arabia, Israel and Turkey. Barack Obama’s vision of a democratic, liberal “Arab Spring” has collapsed. Al Qaeda is a ubiquitous presence as transitional governments struggle to their feet – or not - in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt. Israel finds a tighter than ever Syrian-Hizballah-Iranian noose closing around its borders as Tehran’s nuclear weapons program marches on. Turkey gambled heavily on bringing about Assad’s overthrow as the key to its bid for regional power– and missed.
Whatever Happened To Obama's "National Security Force" ?
From Family Security Matters.
It's Not the Bullets, Baby!
In 2008 candidate Obama said, "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Listen to it. After he was elected in 2008, President Obama never again mentioned his "national security objectives," or the "national security force" he wanted to create. Was that 2008 statement just an applause line? Not really, citizen, not really.
The president has never again mentioned his "national security force" or his "national security objectives," and because mainstream media has never questioned him, Americans have two choices: Forget it and trust the White House, or examine actions of the Obama administration over the last five years. If we look closely, a pattern emerges.
To begin, there are those massive Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ammunition buys. One contract is for 450 million rounds, according to the ammo company, ATK. With just this one contract, DHS buys 90 million rounds per year of 40-caliber pistol ammo. There are other contracts, some with parts blacked out by DHS, but that cover ammunition for 9mm pistols, shotguns, .308-caliber sniper rifles, and other weapons. These ammunition contracts surfaced last year, and some analysts calculated the total to exceed 1.6 billion rounds! There are websites laced with links to DHS ammo contracts. [http://www.infowars.com/dhs-purchases-200-million-more-rounds-of-ammunition/ ] The official explanation for these contracts is that DHS agents need the bullets for "mandatory quarterly firearms qualifications and other training sessions." No explanation is given for the bullets that have expensive and deadly hollow-points that are not used for target practice, and no explanation for the sniper rifle ammunition. Interestingly, a comparison of these amounts with records of ammunition used by U.S. forces in battle in Iraq -- 5.5 million rounds per month -- gives a rough calculation that DHS has enough ammo to fight a thirty-year war. Since DHS does not operate in Iraq, who is the enemy in America they plan to shoot?
There are many other DHS contracts for things like: armored fighting vehicles, bullet-proof booths for street check-points, bullet-proof vests, riot gear, 7,000 fully automatic AR-15 rifles, and over $30 billion in grants to cooperating local police forces for military-style equipment. In 2011, the DHS budget was $98.8 billion, but they spent only $66.4 billion.
Then there are those viral internet rumors about internment camps. Before you think, "Right wing extremist propaganda," remember those 110,000 Japanese-American citizens in 1941. By Executive Order of President Roosevelt, they spent four years in "relocation" camps built in rural areas from the Mississippi to Hawaii. Even Canada, our very liberal northern neighbor, uprooted 27,000 Japanese-Canadians from their homes and scattered them into 22 camps across western Canada.
Of course, "It can't happen here." Nevertheless, KBR (former Halliburton subsidiary, Kellogg, Brown & Root) is soliciting support teams for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) camps. The KBR descriptive document is for services for the camps in five FEMA "regions" of the United States. (It has a map of those regions.)
And the U.S. Army issued a 326 page manual, Internment and Resettlement Operations? It might be just a manual for army camps holding foreign prisoners of war, except for the sections under "Civil Support Operations," and how the Army will handle "DCs," that is, Dislocated Civilians. It details how Psychological Operations Officers will "reduce or remove antagonistic attitudes," including "muffling" (gagging) agitators. The manual clearly states it applies within "the U.S. and its territories," and that the Posse Comitatus Act prohibiting using U.S. soldiers as a police force in America can be sidestepped by the president "invoking his executive authority."
Some argue President Obama and DHS will not ignore constitutional limits on their authority. They are wrong. For example, the Fourth Amendment guarantees "the people have a right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures..." and a warrant is required that describes the place, person or thing to be seized. The Obama administration don't need no stinkin' warrants. Instead, DHS states that if you live within 100 miles of a U.S. international border, DHS can seize and search all your electronic devices including cell phones, tablets, and laptops - without probable cause or a warrant. They call it "the border security search zone." This ‘search zone' includes entire states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, plus large parts of New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Take them to court, you say? It might be difficult to do after you are arrested under provisions of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and denied habeas corpus and a public trial before a jury of your peers.
Rob Natelson, former professor of law at the University of Montana, has written a masterful analysis of how Congress surrendered the right to due process to President Obama, giving him power under the NDAA to detain American citizens indefinitely.
Now look at the president's Executive Orders (EO). On 16 March 2012, President Obama issued EO, National Defense Resources Preparedness. It states the president can seize all the resources in the nation (food, water, transportation, etc.) "to promote the national defense," another undefined phrase. On 6 July 2012, this power was combined with EO, Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions that gives DHS the power to control the internet to "satisfy priority communications requirements through the use of commercial, Government, and privately owned communications resources, when appropriate." The words "when appropriate" are not defined.
So let's add it up:
1. DHS has 270,000 personnel including an army of 70,000 armed agents. Among other things, it controls the internet and all communications.
2. An Army manual says Posse Comitatus will be sidestepped by the president so uniformed troops can become national police.
3. FEMA camps are being organized and serviced.
4. The 4th and 10th Amendments are ignored by DHS, and the 2nd Amendment's ‘right to bear arms,' is under vigorous attack.
5. Executive Orders enable the president to control food, utilities, and the internet. When grocery stores are empty, citizens must go to FEMA camps for bread and water. (Leave your guns at the door, please.)
6. A "civilian national security force" that candidate Obama wanted in 2008 is now the DHS, and it takes orders from President Obama.
So it is not just DHS ammo. To those billions of bullets, add the power government agents have to take control of the Republic, "when appropriate." Get ready to hear: "I'm from DHS, and I'm here to help you."
Ever Wondered What Al Qaeda's "22 Tips To Avoid a Drone Strike" Might Be?
Apparently the al Qaeda-linked jihadis in Mali were privy to some published tips on how to elude, avoid and disrupt predator drone strikes - a pretty interesting list of tips, for sure. Apparently, this list is not available in northwest Pakistan or Yemen. LOL.
The article comes from The Long War Journal.

Malian jihadists aware of al Qaeda's advice on avoiding drone attacks
According to Guidere, the tipsheet was first published on June 2, 2011, when it appeared on an extremist website in Arabic. It has subsequently been republished in Arabic on several occasions but was not well known in English.
The Telegraph provides the following translation of all 22 tips:
1. It is possible to know the intention and the mission of the drone by using the Russianmade "sky grabber" device to infiltrate the drone's waves and the frequencies. The device is available in the market for $2,595 and the one who operates it should be a computer know-how.
2. Using devices that broadcast frequencies or pack of frequencies to disconnect the contacts and confuse the frequencies used to control the drone. The Mujahideen have had successful experiments using the Russian-made "Racal."
3. Spreading the reflective pieces of glass on a car or on the roof of the building.
4. Placing a group of skilled snipers to hunt the drone, especially the reconnaissance ones because they fly low, about six kilometres or less.
5. Jamming of and confusing of electronic communication using the ordinary water-lifting dynamo fitted with a 30-metre copper pole.
6. Jamming of and confusing of electronic communication using old equipment and keeping them 24-hour running because of their strong frequencies and it is possible using simple ideas of deception of equipment to attract the electronic waves devices similar to that used by the Yugoslav army when they used the microwave (oven) in attracting and confusing the Nato missiles fitted with electromagnetic searching devices.
7. Using general confusion methods and not to use permanent headquarters.
8. Discovering the presence of a drone through well-placed reconnaissance networks and to warn all the formations to halt any movement in the area.
9. To hide from being directly or indirectly spotted, especially at night.
10. To hide under thick trees because they are the best cover against the planes.
11. To stay in places unlit by the sun such as the shadows of the buildings or the trees.
12. Maintain complete silence of all wireless contacts.
13. Disembark of vehicles and keep away from them especially when being chased or during combat.
14. To deceive the drone by entering places of multiple entrances and exits.
15. Using underground shelters because the missiles fired by these planes are usually of the fragmented anti-personnel and not anti-buildings type.
16. To avoid gathering in open areas and in urgent cases, use building of multiple doors or exits.
17. Forming anti-spies groups to look for spies and agents.
18. Formation of fake gatherings such as using dolls and statutes to be placed outside false ditches to mislead the enemy.
19. When discovering that a drone is after a car, leave the car immediately and everyone should go in different direction because the planes are unable to get after everyone.
20. Using natural barricades like forests and caves when there is an urgent need for training or gathering.
21. In frequently targeted areas, use smoke as cover by burning tires.
22. As for the leaders or those sought after, they should not use communications equipment because the enemy usually keeps a voice tag through which they can identify the speaking person and then locate him.

At Least 53 Syrian Soldiers and Syrian Rebels Killed In Fight Over Police Academy
Aleppo in Syria has been the scene of huge bloodshed in the past number of months as the Syrian rebels and Assad's troops have gone back and forth for control of the city - well, in the past 24 hours, both forces have fought over control of a police academy in Aleppo and the death toll so far is staggering. According to reports, Syrian troop losses are at 30 and the rebels have had 23 killed.
Must be a helluva police academy, huh?

Over 50 killed in battle for Syria police academy
BEIRUT: At least 30 Syrian troops and 23 rebels were killed over the past 24 hours in fierce clashes for control of a police academy in the northern Aleppo province, a watchdog said on Monday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported that rebels shot down a regime helicopter near a military base elsewhere in the north of the province as insurgents pressed on with attacks on the police academy in the west.
At least 53 combatants, 23 rebels including a battalion commander and 30 Syrian troops, were killed over the past 24 hours in the fighting outside the town of Khan Assal, the Britain-based Observatory said.
It said rebels took control of a building where troops were entrenched as warplanes tried to repel them and “took hostage dozens of pro-regime militants.”
But the pro-regime Al-Watan newspaper said Monday that “members of the police academy rebuffed the intensive attacks of armed men for the second consecutive day, inflicting heavy losses on them with artillery.”
The police academy is one of the last regime bastions in the west of Aleppo province.
The chopper was shot down near Minnigh military airport, which rebels have been trying to stop for months, “and burst into flames after it was hit,” the Observatory said.
A local resident confirmed to AFP that “the helicopter was shot down while trying to land” at the strategic airbase, located in the north of the province.
Also on Monday regime warplanes bombarded the southwestern and eastern outskirts of Damascus in a protracted bid to dislodge rebels from their rear bases, killing 10 civilians including two children, the Observatory said.
Inside the capital, troops shelled rebel strongholds in the east and south, killing two civilians including a young girl, and another girl was killed in mortar fire in clashes that broke out near the Yarmuk Palestinian refugee camp.
In the northwestern province of Idlib at least eight civilians were killed in air raids on villages in Jabal Zawiya and shelling on the rebel-held village of Khirbet al-Joz on the Turkish border.
Fighter jets also raided towns in the southern province of Daraa, cradle of the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad that broke out in March 2011 and has left 70,000 dead, according to the United Nations.
In the mainly Kurdish province of Hasake, the Al-Nusra Front and other rebels seized Tal Hamis after several days of heavy fighting and regime shelling that forced most of the town’s residents to flee, the Observatory said.
The watchdog, which relies on a vast network of activists on the ground and medics, said at least 92 people were killed in violence across Syria on Monday.
Did You Even HEAR of the Massive Islamic Terror Plot Thwarted In Britain?
The story comes from Family Security Matters.
Terrorist Attack 'Bigger Than 7/7' Thwarted by British MI5, Cops
Three suspects from Birmingham, England, were found guilty on Thursday of plotting a bombing campaign intended to be even larger than the 7/7 London attacks that occurred on May 7, 2005, in which 52 people were killed.
Although the intended targets of the three Islamists remain unknown, it is clear to the police and members of the Security Service, MI5, that the convicted terrorists intended to inflict as much destruction and death as possible by recruiting a team of suicide bombers to carry out attacks.
Irfan Naseer, 31, Irfan Khalid, 27, and Ashik Ali, 27, were plotting to set off up to eight explosive devices in crowded areas, and set up a charity collection scam in order to raise money to fund their planned terrorist operations, according to MI5 .
Naseer and Khalid were also found guilty of attending a terrorist training camp in Pakistan and Naseer with assisting four younger men to travel there after them.
All three will also face sentencing for trying to recruit others from Birmingham to join the plot which Khalid described as being “another 9-11”. Naseer talked of "spilling so much blood you’ll have nightmares for the rest of your lives."
The convictions come at the end of a 14-week trial at Woolwich Crown Court. A jury of six men and six women returned unanimous verdicts, finding the defendants guilty of all 12 charges of engaging in conduct in preparation of acts of terrorism.
Karen Jones, specialist counterterrorism prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "These men had dangerous aspirations and whilst the precise targets remained unclear, the potential for damage and loss of life from their plot should not be underestimated."
"The evidence we put to the court showed the defendants discussing with awe and admiration the attacks of 9/11 and 7/7. These terrorists wanted to do something bigger, speaking of how 7/7 had gone a bit wrong," noted Jones.
"Having traveled to Pakistan for expert training and preparation, Naseer and Khalid returned to the UK where they discussed attacks involving up to eight rucksacks. Had they not been stopped, the consequences would have been catastrophic," Jones said,
The case followed a lengthy investigation that produced 25,000 pages of evidence including video and audio material. The Crown Prosecution Service commended the success of the case, saying that it was "largely down to the close working between [West Midlands] police, the Security Service (MI5) and the CPS."
Afghan president orders US Special Forces to leave Wardak province
So, this is what it has come to? President Hamid Karzai is taking over for our Commander-in-chief because our President and fearless leader is on his knees next to a golf cart on the 19th hole (some of you will get the reference, some won't)? Yeah, for all of you Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force veterans out there...since you've been gone we have a new way of doing things in the military...you see, our guys get sent over to do a job and risk their lives only to have some ragheaded Muslim piece of shit whose every penny has come from getting your kids hooked on heroin telling them when and where they can fight.

Afghan president orders US Special Forces to leave Wardak province
President Hamid Karzai has ordered the Ministry of Defense to eject all "US Special Forces" from the key eastern province of Wardak after accusing the American troops or their local Afghan security partners of committing war crimes. Karzai's order is an ominous development for future US and NATO plans, which are expected to rely heavily on special operations forces to take on a greater role as the bulk of conventional forces are withdrawn from Afghanistan.
"Today, the National Security Council ordered the Ministry of Defense to remove American Special Forces within two weeks from Wardak province," Karzai spokesman Aimal Faizi told reporters, according to TOLONews.
"A recent example in the province is an incident in which nine people were disappeared in an operation by this suspicious force and in a separate incident a student was taken away at night from his home, whose tortured body with throat cut was found two days later under a bridge," he added.
US Forces - Afghanistan, an ISAF subcommand under which some US Special Forces operate, said it was aware of the statement attributed to Karzai and that it is investigating the allegations.
US special operations forces often partner with local Afghan security forces, such as the Afghan Local Police (ALP) at the village level. President Karzai has generally opposed the ALP, and some Afghans fear the local units, currently totaling 19,600 officers and often accused of corruption (as are more traditional Afghan government security forces), will foster a return to warlordism.
Karzai's directive for "US Special Forces" to withdraw from Wardak comes as NATO is working to negotiate and finalize plans for its force structure in Afghanistan after combat forces are withdrawn by the end of 2014. Various draft proposals and statements by US personnel and NATO partners have indicated that a force of 8,000 to 15,500 NATO troops, comprised of up to 9,500 Americans, could remain in Afghanistan. The residual mission is expected to be structured around training Afghan security forces and the continuation of counterterrorism operations targeting high value enemies. Both tasks rely heavily on US Special Forces (a designation precisely indicating the US Army "Green Berets") as well as the broader category of all US special operations forces.
Wardak is a troubled province
Wardak province, which borders Kabul to the southwest, has been contested by the Taliban and the Haqqani Network, the al Qaeda-linked Taliban subgroup, despite US efforts to secure the province over the past several years. The Taliban have been in control of the Tangi Valley, which runs through Wardak, since the withdrawal of US forces from Combat Outpost Tangi in the spring of 2011. US troops turned over the base to the Afghan Army, which immediately abandoned it. The Taliban later released a videotape that showed hundreds of fighters and senior Taliban leaders massing at the abandoned base and conducting a tour.
Wardak has been the scene of numerous high-profile attacks by the two groups, particularly in 2011. The Taliban shot down a US Army Chinook helicopter in Sayyidabad on Aug. 6, 2011. Thirty-eight US and Afghan troops, including 17 US Navy SEALS from the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, were killed in the crash. And on Sept. 10, 2011, the Taliban detonated a massive suicide bomb outside of Combat Outpost Sayyidabad, killing four Afghans and wounding more than 100 people, including 77 US soldiers. US commanders later blamed the attack on the Haqqani Network, a powerful al Qaeda subgroup.
Al Qaeda is also known to maintain a presence in Wardak province. The presence of terror cells has been detected in the districts of Maidan Shah, Sayyidabad, and Tarnek Wa Jaldak, or three of the province's eight districts. On Nov. 18, 2011, special operations forces killed Mujib Rahman Mayar, an Afghan member of al Qaeda. Mayar "trained insurgents and worked as a courier" for the terror group, ISAF stated after his death. "He delivered messages and transported money for the al Qaeda network."

CAIR Director In Michigan Spreads Story That American Law Enforcement Has It Out For Muslims
CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is up to its old game of spreading propaganda that Muslims in America are sooooo oppressed and so singled out for harassment...it's like a broken damn record. It leads me to the question - if it's just so damn unbearable to live in America as a Muslim, CAIR, then why don't you and the rest of your cult just pack it in and get the fuck out?
Perhaps an organizational name change would be better....move from "CAIR" to "WMPB" as in "Whining Muslim Pussy Boys"...or something to that extent.
I'm not sure the Director of CAIR in Michigan is doing much to endear himself to the FBI with all of this - perhaps he should be looked at under a charge of incitement to riot?
The story comes from The Investigative Project on Terrorism.

CAIR's Walid: Silent on Jihad, Sows Fear of Law Enforcement
FBI agents are devils lurking online to entrap young Muslims in bogus terrorist plots, a leading Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) official told a group of Michigan youngsters earlier this week.
Dawud Walid, director of CAIR's Michigan chapter, lectured area youth on Monday about his belief that FBI agents are waiting to set them up through informants. He wants the message to reach a broader audience, posting the audio online and promoting it on his Twitter feed.
Noting the 48th anniversary of Malcolm X's assassination this week, Walid told the youth audience that history is riddled with spies who betray their own, from Malcolm X to the Islamic prophet Mohammed's companions, to Judas among Jesus' apostles.
oday, "you have agent provocateurs and people who are acting as informants that are trying to further their careers, to get out of trouble, to get arrests, try to set people up," Walid said. "And guess the No. 1 group of people who are targeted by these FBI agent provocateurs? Does anyone have a guess? Muslims."
That may be true specifically in terms of counter-terrorism cases. But a quick search of news stories from the past week shows informants and undercover agents are used in sting operations almost daily in cases involving drugs, prostitution, online child sex predators and more.
But Walid's talk, at just less than 15 minutes, had no room for context. He also devoted no time to warning the youngsters that they need to be wary of actual extremists and their message. He described hearing from a woman who said the FBI offered to help her with an immigration problem if she created a Facebook page supporting the Somali Islamist group al-Shabaab.
The group is responsible for killing dozens of people in bombing attacks. It directly recruits young Somali men living in America.
"What are you waiting for O' youth?" an official says in one online recruiting video. "If you do not fight Jihad today then when will you? O Muslim youth, free your brothers from the darkness of oppression and the brutality of the enemy blows. Search for death and you will attain life. Come to jihad, you will gain honor in this life and the next."
More than 20 young Somalis reportedly left the Minneapolis area to join the group, with several dying. One, Shirwa Ahmed, became the first known American suicide bomber. It also is suspected of killing some of those Americans after they tried to leave the group.
Walid mentioned none of this to his youth audience. Rather, he cast doubt on Shabaab's terrorist designation.
"Have you all heard of al-Shabaab?" he asked. "Shabaab literally means 'youth' in Arabic, as-Shabaab al-Muslimeen is a group in Somalia that's been involved in a lot of fighting and our government calls them a terrorist organization."
Walid offered no warning about online content glorifying violent jihad, be it from al-Shabaab or in videos from American-born al-Qaida cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Though he was killed in a 2011 drone strike, Awlaki's online sermons continue to influence would-be terrorists. Walid's speech made no attempt to tell the youngsters why such a message was wrong and should be shunned.
The only threat he described is from law enforcement. Informants play to young Muslims' emotions, Walid said, lamenting the deaths of Muslims in Pakistan, Afghanistan and elsewhere. For example, "'look at what's going on in France, and America's helping the French government in Mali, and look what's going on with the Muslims in Mali.' Trying to get people, primarily youth, excited," Walid said.
"And then once one of the youth gets excited and says something back over the Internet and then goes to meet someone to have a conversation to do something, then guess what happens? The FBI comes and says 'Gotcha!' Now I'm serious. This has happened. Many times. So my advice to you is that [if] anyone strange comes into the masjid, or on your Facebook page or Twitter, and tries to get you excited about wanting to do something against the United States government or something overseas, you should be very careful. You should tell your parents the situation immediately and they should contact me at CAIR. Because nine times out of 10 the person who is trying to influence you over Twitter or over Facebook is not even a real extremist. It's someone who's with the government that's trying to set you up."
In addition to indicating that contact from "a real extremist" would be unremarkable, Walid grossly mischaracterizes law enforcement counter-terrorism stings.
It is language he has used before.
"The FBI, by using informants acting as agent provocateurs, has recruited more so-called extremist Muslims than al-Qaida themselves," he said in December 2010. In a separate speech to CAIR-Connecticut's annual banquet that same month, he described FBI "agent provocateurs" taking advantage of "emotional people," "getting them excited," "giving them plots" and then "after they push the people," saying "gotcha!"
With this, Walid continues his long history of blatantly mischaracterizing law enforcement actions. He spent more than a year arguing that agents murdered a peaceful Detroit imam as they tried to arrest him for weapons violations and conspiring to sell stolen goods. The imam refused repeated orders to lie down and surrender peacefully, and video shows that hid behind a corner clutching a handgun as agents approached. He fired his gun first, killing an FBI canine. Walid refused to accept the facts even after two investigations cleared the agents.
The terrorism Walid criticizes start with people who voluntarily offer their support for jihad and express interest in meeting people who can help make that happen. Earlier this month, a federal jury in Portland convicted Somali immigrant Mohamed Mohamud after he tried to detonate what he thought was a car bomb outside a crowded Christmas tree lighting ceremony in 2010. The bomb was rendered inert by FBI agents investigating Mohamud.
Evidence showed Mohamud wrote four articles for Jihad Recollections, an online magazine, and posted on other jihadi web sites before the FBI stepped in. He chose the target, bypassing suggestions he serve the cause through non-violent means.
Similarly, a Virginia man thought he was going to detonate a suicide bomb inside the U.S. Capitol a year ago, only to be arrested by FBI agents as he walked alone toward the building with what he thought was a live bomb-vest. Amine El-Khalifi felt a religious duty to act because of his belief the United States was waging a war on Muslims. His "motivation was simply to do what he thought God called him to do," his public defender said at El-Khalifi's sentencing.
While Walid and his colleagues at CAIR decry such law enforcement intervention, a former FBI agent who is Muslim sees them as vital in protecting innocent lives.
"As you can't prosecute someone just for professing a desire to kill Americans, and you can't read minds to determine if they really intend to carry out their threats, either you wait to see if the real al Qaeda gets in contact—and hope you can track them—or you intercede," former agent Ali Soufan wrote in a recent Wall Street Journal book review. "Most Americans would no doubt prefer the latter option to taking a serious gamble with civilian lives."
Count Walid among the minority. He sees Soufan, who participated in undercover terrorism stings, as a devil to young Muslims.
"This is in Islam. Shayatin – devils – they're not just in spirit they're also in men. But guess what? Shayatin can be as white as a piece of paper but shayatin can also be as black as coal. There are shayatin in many colors. Some of them are Chinese, some of them are Arab. Some of them are black. Some of them are Bengali. All types of shayatin. So we have to be on guard and ask Allah (SWT) to protect us from the shayatin amongst the jinn (spirits) and the men."
Four Somali Muslims In San Diego Convicted of Supporting Terrorist Activities
Why don't I just bluntly state the obvious - the immigration (or forceful insertion) of Somali Muslims to America has been like a blight upon an entire crop. Our country is filled with violence, strife, and now an example of direct Islamic terrorism by Muslims who have come here from Somali.
My question is this - at what point is one of our leaders or officials going to finally stand up and simply state that the people of Somalia simply are not qualified to be in America, are not representative of the proper candidates for citizenship in this country?
A jury in San Diego has convicted for Somali Muslims of supporting terror activities and one of those four includes the damn Imam in the area. Well, get used to it...there's more to come.

US jury in San Diego convicts 4 Somali men of terrorist support
A federal jury in San Diego has convicted four Somali immigrants -- including an imam from a local mosque -- of conspiring to funnel money to a terrorist group in their home country.
After a three-week trial and three days of deliberations, the jury convicted the four men Friday of conspiring to raise and send money to Somalia's al-Shabaab (AHL-shuh-BAHB').
The U.S. State Department designated al-Shabaab a terrorist group in 2008, and federal prosecutors have since cracked down on the group's U.S. support with the arrests of some two dozen people, mostly in Minnesota.
Those convicted include 40-year-old Mohamed Mohamud, an imam at a San Diego mosque, along with two taxi drivers and a man who operated a financial business that was used to move the money.
Sentencing is scheduled for May.

Imam Preaches Armed Jihad in D.C. High School
An Islamist imam spoke in support of armed jihad at an event held in a Virginia high school on January 26, a video from the event shows.
The event was put together by the First Hijrah Foundation and its purpose was to “to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of Ethiopian Muslims peaceful struggle for justice and freedom of religion and Fund Raising for the families of the unjustly detained scholars of Ethiopian Muslims.”
An edited video compiling the statements made at the event by Imam Shaker of Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center is below:
The video shows Imam Shaker making the following statements:
“…the power of armament. You cannot defend yourself by wishful thinking.” He adds that colonial powers would not be driven from Muslim lands by asking them to leave.
“The world respects those who push back, the world only fears those who fight back.”
He condemned leaders who “bow down to Western pressure,” and said Muslims should only bow to Allah.
“[Muslims should be] first in the jihad line.”
“[Muslims are last in line] if anything is being distributed, except for if it is arms for jihad. We are the first to rush and run to defend our community and to defend ourselves. The enemies of Allah are lining up. The question is for us; Are we lining or are we afraid because they may call us terrorists? Let me give you the good news. They are already calling us terrorists anyway! You are a terrorist because you are a Muslim…Make this title worth it.”
“Be a Muslim who spreads peace when peace is to be received and be a Muslim who fights back when there is an attack on yourself, your community, your society, your nation, your religion, your dignity, your honor, your women, your children or your neighbors.”
Imam Shaker ended the speech by calling on the audience to sacrifice like those who are putting their “lives on the line to defend” Islam in Ethiopia. The moderator then came on stage and said that Shaker wasn’t advocating armed struggle in Ethiopia.

Imam Shaker has a history of radicalism. He is a former Secretary-General of the Muslim American Society (MAS), which federal prosecutors said in 2008 “was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” In January 2012, convicted terrorist and U.S. Muslim Brotherhood member Abdurrahman Alamoudi said, “Everyone knows that MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood.”
In 2001, Imam Shaker would not condemn Hamas’ attacks on Israeli civilians, arguing that they are legitimate targets and occupiers. In 2002, he said that suicide bombers are “unfairly named” and that if a Muslim land is attacked or occupied, every Muslim must wage jihad “with every tool that they can get in their hand. Anything that they can get in their hand they should fight with it. And if they don’t have a weapon in their hands, then [they will fight] unarmed.”
A 2002 Customs and Border Protection document states that Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, which Shaker has led since 2005, is “operating as a front for Hamas operatives in U.S.” A December 2007 document says it “has been linked to numerous individuals linked to terrorism financing” and “has also been associated with encouraging fraudulent marriages.”
The Center’s constitution mandates that it be affiliated with the Muslim American Society, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). The latter two were labeled as unindicted co-conspirators in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for financing Hamas. The U.S. government described them as “individuals/entities who are and/or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.” A 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood document lists them among “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.”
Imam Shaker’s speech was an explicitly anti-Western call to jihad, and it took place in a high school after classes ended. When the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood spoke of a “civilization jihadist process” in its 1991 strategic memo, this is what they were talking about.
Taliban Launch Wave of Suicide Bombing Attacks In Afghanistan, Major Hit Foiled In Kabul
Today the Taliban unleashed a bit of an unholy wave of attacks across Afghanistan with several suicide bombing attacks - the one that probably would have done the most damage was foiled when Afghan security forces shot dead the suicide bomber before he could set off the huge explosives in his vehicle.

Taliban suicide bombers hit Afghan cities, Kabul attack foiled
KABUL: Two Taliban suicide bombers killed three members of Afghan security forces on Sunday, but a third attack in Kabul’s diplomatic enclave was foiled when police shot dead the would-be assailant, officials said.
The attacker in Kabul was armed with a suicide vest and his SUV was full of explosives, but police opened fire when he tired to penetrate deeper into the capital’s diplomatic enclave of Wazir Akbar Khan, the officials said.
In the day’s first attack, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden car into a spy agency facility in the town of Jalalabad, 150 kilometres east of Kabul.
It was followed by a similar attack on a police base in Puli Alam, 70 kilometres south of the capital, officials said.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attacks in Puli Alam and Jalalabad, but denied that the militant group was involved in the foiled attack in Kabul.
Authorities had earlier said that two would-be suicide bombers were killed in Kabul. But city police chief Mohammad Ayoub Salangi said only one attacker was involved, dismissing local reports that a second bomber had managed to escape.
“We have intelligence about this. The bomber was shot dead and his car bomb is defused. It’s over now,” Salangi told AFP.
An AFP photographer at the scene saw a young man laying dead in a pool of blood next to his bullet-ridden car on the side of the road near a construction site. The man was shot in the head.
The same construction site was overrun by insurgents as part of a coordinated attack in Kabul and several other provinces in April 2012.
Fifty one people, 36 of them insurgents, were killed in those attacks, which besides Kabul hit several other cities.
The Taliban are the main group behind suicide bombings in Afghanistan in a long-running insurgency aimed at toppling the Western-backed government in Kabul.
In Jalalabad, police spokesman Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal said the bomber rammed his sedan car into the gates of the walled compound of a National Directorate of Security branch and detonated his bombs.
“There was a suicide car bombing in the intelligence facility in city district two. Two intelligence workers were martyred and three others were wounded,” the police spokesman said.
Police in Puli Alam, the capital of Logar province, said the attack there hit the gates of a police base along the highway leading to Kabul and killed one police officer.
Logar police chief Abdul Saboor Nasrati said the bombing was carried out in a van and caused “a massive explosion” that broke glass and caused damage to nearby homes.
The Taliban have waged an 11-year insurgency against the Kabul government since being ousted from power in a US-led invasion in 2001.
The United States and Nato have around 100,000 troops in Afghanistan, but the vast majority of them will leave next year, with Afghan forces progressively taking over.
