Oh boy...this guy is really a tough guy. Al Hamza Ahmad Suliman al Bahlul, supposedly Osama bin Laden's 'media chief' even held up a sign at his trial at a Guantanamo courtroom that said "boycott!" Hahaha. Raghead. Sometimes, the American courts and America's preservation of rights can be frustrating. Everyone under the sun knows this clown should simply be taken out to the nearest tree and hung until the buzzards are done feeding on his carcass but as the beacon of rights in the world, we get to see this asshat make a spectacle of the courtroom so he can play enemy combatant. Here's what al Bahlul said, from the article here at Reuters:
So here we have a guy who conspired with the leaders of al Qaeda in the deaths of more than 3,000 Americans and we have to watch him make these little defiant speeches and get attention. And at the same time, we have Americans like Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois who we can all thank for prompting these rushed trials and for the premature release of some of the guilty - like the three Gitmo jihadists that Durbin helped free and subsequently migrated to Iraq and killed more than 30 people in a Mosul terrorist attack. That's right, Senator Durbin, you have blood on your hands.
Oh....al Bahlul had something else to say:
Well I'll tell you what al Bahlul, rant away but the fact of the matter is you more than likely will be found guilty, you will spend the rest of your days pacing a 10' x 10' cell and your "Sheikh" bin Laden is crouched in a corner of a cave in Pakistan eating beetles and sipping rancid water while his kidneys bark at him 24/7. Justice might not be swift but it usually is spot on.
"I am not going to say I'm not from al Qaeda," Bahlul said. "We will continue in our jihad and nothing is going to stop us."

"I am renewing my allegiance to Sheikh Osama bin Laden," said Bahlul, who wore a beard and loose green shirt as he sat at the corner of the defense table, with two military bailiffs behind him.

Suspected al Qaeda 'media chief' rejects U.S. court
GUANTANAMO BAY U.S. NAVAL BASE, Cuba (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden's suspected "media director" rejected U.S. terrorism court proceedings against him and renewed his allegiance to the al Qaeda leader on Wednesday in a hearing marred by technical flaws in a new Guantanamo courtroom.
With the lights momentarily out due to a power failure in the windowless military courtroom set up to try Guantanamo prisoners, Al Hamza Ahmad Suliman al Bahlul declined to enter a plea at his arraignment on three terrorism-related charges.
He had earlier held up a handwritten "boycott" sign and declined to answer when asked whether he was rejecting his military attorney, though in a lengthy statement to the court he indicated he would not contest the charges against him.
"I am not going to say I'm not from al Qaeda," Bahlul said. "We will continue in our jihad and nothing is going to stop us."
Bahlul, who is from Yemen, was charged with conspiracy, solicitation to commit murder and providing material support for terrorism. He was accused of preparing a propaganda video glorifying the attack on the American destroyer Cole, preparing the videotaped will of Sept. 11 ringleader Mohamed Atta, and operating computer and communications gear for bin Laden.
"I am renewing my allegiance to Sheikh Osama bin Laden," said Bahlul, who wore a beard and loose green shirt as he sat at the corner of the defense table, with two military bailiffs behind him.
The hearing at the U.S. naval base in southeastern Cuba was marred by audio-visual failures and the power outage that for several minutes darkened the courtroom, which was completed earlier this year as part of a $12 million court complex built to handle a wave of trials expected to begin later this month.
We really should treat these bastards according to the Geneva Conventions, and shoot them where we find them, as the Conventions has special rules about "non-uniformed" fighters.
