What's the Relationship of Concealed Carry Permits To Crime?

I've been carry for 39 years. 30 as a LEO and 9 with a HR 218 permit. All citizens who want to be armed should do so. You can obtain a CCW in 49 of the 50 states. Don't be a victim. My pistol saved my life twice (I was not working).
Oh, and if you don't want to carry don't. That's your choice.
