Latest International Sport - Take A Whack At The New Appeasing America, Turkey Joins In

With huge fanfare, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that President Barack Obama would soon be visiting the muslim nation of Turkey - proving that President Obama would hold up on his end of the promise for visiting a muslim country within 100 days of taking office. And within two days of Clinton's announcement, the Turkish Foreign Minister has taken a big pot shot at the new U.S. President. You'll see below what the issue is all about but I'm going to take a look at why these potshots, these whacks, these sucker punches have become a global sport now. Here's an excerpt of what the Turkish official said from the article at Breitbart:

Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Sunday there was a "risk" that US President Barack Obama would recognise the massacre of Armenians a century ago as genocide.
But Babacan said in an interview with the NTV television channel that such a move would only impede efforts to reconcile Turkey and Armenia.

"It would not be rational for a third country to take a position on this topic. A bad step by the United States would only worsen the process" of reconciliation between Armenia and Turkey.

Personally, I don't really give a shit about the whole Armenian/Ottoman issue from the early 1900,'s - I have no skin in that game but I'm more concerned about this trend of peon countries across the world now that are rising up to throw a pie in the face of Uncle Sam. It's become a sport, it's become a joke, it's become too commonplace.

Barack Obama has pretty much done all that he could to signal to the world that he would run a spineless and appeasing administration and that America's new position in the world would be that of former world leader to new whipping boy. Obama basically has alerted the rest of the world to take their best shot at us because....we, America, deserve your anger. It all started during the Presidential campaign when Obama promised to do away with America's nuclear weapon superiority.

Since taking office, President Obama has seen the likes of the Iranians take Obama's overture of negotiations and throw it back in his face with the condition of the U.S. making a sweeping apology for our behavior. Then, we saw Canada and Mexico both slam the U.S. and Obama for the wording in the Stimulus Bill that spoke of protectionism. Then, we saw Obama bend over again and hint that the U.S. would cancel the Eastern Europe missile shield program if Russia would help stop Iran from going nuclear and the Russian President laughed at him. And now, we have the likes of Turkey, doing their best imitation of throwing fast balls at the Obama-Dunk-Tank.

And since I'm on the subject of foreign policy performance let's just take a look at the list of foreign countries that now hate our guts due to Obama's incompetence: India, Poland, Czech Republic, Pakistan, Canada, Mexico and Russia. I won't list all European countries but most of them got plenty pissed off (along with Canada and Mexico) by Obama's protectionism language in the Stimulus Bill.

So there you have it, country after country across the globe lining up to take their turn at pushing America down to the ground...like a line of 9 year old bullies pushing the former playground ruler down to the pavement under the monkey bars on the school playground...and in this case, we have the former kingpin, gettting up....looking at his scraped knee and torn clothes and simply handing over his lunch money to those in line. Up next, we'll have the third world countries getting in line to throw their best fastball that will dunk America in the tank of world disrespect.

Turkey warn Obama against 'genocide' recognition

Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Sunday there was a "risk" that US President Barack Obama would recognise the massacre of Armenians a century ago as genocide.
But Babacan said in an interview with the NTV television channel that such a move would only impede efforts to reconcile Turkey and Armenia.
Obama, who is expected to visit Turkey in April, said several times during his election campaign that he would recognise the 1915-1917 massacres under the Ottoman Empire as genocide.
The United States has previously condemned the killings while not calling them genocide to avoid tensions with Turkey, a NATO member and key Middle East ally.
"I still see a risk," Babacan said. "Mr Obama made the promise five times in a row."
He added however that "The new American administration understands Turkey's sensibilities better today" and called on the United States not to interfere in the dispute between the neighbours.
"It would not be rational for a third country to take a position on this topic. A bad step by the United States would only worsen the process" of reconciliation between Armenia and Turkey.
The two countries offer starkly different accounts of the events, and the dispute has been a major obstacle in relations between Ankara and Yerevan.
Armenians say up to 1.5 million people died between 1915 and 1917 in orchestrated killings as the Ottoman Empire fell apart. More than 20 countries have recognised the killings as genocide.
Turkey rejects the genocide label and argues that between 300,000 and 500,000 Armenians and at least as many Turks died in civil strife when Armenians took up arms for independence in eastern Anatolia and sided with invading Russian troops.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced during a visit to Ankara on Saturday that Obama would visit Turkey "within the next month or so". The visit is expected in April.

  1. The US has no room to lecture Turkey on ethnic cleansing. If you don't believe me ask a Native American Indian - if you can find one.

  2. Esquerita! The "Native Americans" aren't. The pre-Clovis people they 'cleansed' were here 20,000 years before them, and they wiped them out.

Those evil "Native American Indians" brought spear points to Clovis and to the americas, and killed the paleo-american people and the native animals (even bambi and cute bunnies) who all lived here before they invaded.

Those "Native American Indians" cleansed the polynesians who were here first! Try finding some of them. They have no lobbyists or PR people, only bones in the ground that were there 10,000 years before the mongols from asia.

Go visit 27,000 year old sites in south america; or 13,00 year old ruins in central america. Go look at the polynesian skulls, and look at the carved faces of africans all pre-dating those 'native american indians".

Esquerita! You should be lecturing "Native American Indians" on the cleansing done by their ancestors starting about 10,000 years ago when they migrated into already populated areas.

Once again exposing simplistic anti-western libtard political fantasy, as a public service. You're welcome.

summary of different migrations as old as 35,000 years ago, and timing of mongol asian invasion, aka "native american indians", about 10,000 years ago.
