Also, we have to keep in mind that the Communist leadership refuses to trade with most of the world so they typically have very little food imported in and finally, the Communist party and the army typically get first dibs on the food.

Hope that helps.

:Holger DanskeHolger Awakenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14728123335596054395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1065080297476076227.post-28902886944770482682013-04-06T20:54:08.103-07:002013-04-06T20:54:08.103-07:00Is there something particularly bad about their la...Is there something particularly bad about their land that their harvests fail like so? Or is it just bad luck? I mean how does a drought happen in the North but not in the South? Economic mismanagement is one of the issues, but still it's baffling that they get such famines in a relatively not so dry part of the planet. They shut up.

This time we should send them nothing. Let their military starve. The people are already starving so sending food will not help them.

Sanctions should mean that Kim Jung-Uno hurts too. Or else he will commit national suicide. China will not back him up this time.

Either way we win.Findalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02881549378886491540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1065080297476076227.post-75115977903209610842013-04-06T10:31:06.906-07:002013-04-06T10:31:06.906-07:00Don't you think we should defuse the North Kor...Don't you think we should defuse the North Korean situation instead of escalating it? It's not very smart to risk nuclear war over being affronted by their verbal threats. Take a cue from JFK. Don't be so cavalier about using and risking the use of against you the world's deadliest weapon.

Perhaps you should think of the millions of Japanese, South Korean, North Korean and AMERICAN civilians that are going to be affected by your desire for preemptive escalation.

Think before you act Holger. If a guy like Kruschev can do it, so can you. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
